From a solo perspective:

Full Draw is clutch.  As is Spike Trap.  The ability to OSK a priority target before a room pull can be essential.  Given that the absurd majority of your DPS will stem from auto attacking (unless you like failing mission after mission due to ranged mobs) CD is irrelevant.  It's about using a kit that will provide you the best opening and recovery when things get hairy.  All that "middle" stuff is LOS'ing and thinning out the ranged herds.

In a group setting Full Draw is situational at best.  What they need to do is combine Full Draw and Explosive Shot into one ability and then fill in the gap with a new power that can flesh out the bow users utility.  This would be applicable to both MP *AND* Campaign Mode.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Trepanner's Requital. ;)

Not everyone has it, but if you do, pewpew becomes boomboom.

I might be in the wrong here, I dont play much hunter - but I'd argue that it's not applicable on hunter either. First of all long casting time, second of all minions have to be full health to get full effect. Third, it is one skill to take out basicly one enemy, if you are even able to kill it. You might kill an important enemy, like a shadow etc but it has a long CD so the rest of the fight you are stuck with three other skills only. And one of them is probably stealth.

I think there are a lot of other cool things you can do with a hunter instead.

I mean if you're using that Grunsman and Knife in the Shadows, one full draw is all you need.

But I'd agree, for most of us, it's largely pointless.

Gad, I do love having that bow. Full Draw and, boom, things go, well, boom.

On topic, I like the upgrade to Full Draw. Proccing Sleep on (most) bosses can be handy for the DPS classes in your party. I realize the FD may not be optimal for the Archer, but it does make for a character built for variety.

Who misses some of the old archery skills, explosive shot used to be able to release a cloud of smoke that veiled allies, you had pinning shot, and hail of arrows. I miss having hail of arrows. Hail of Arrows would be so good in Mp, keep it pretty much exactly as it was in DA2, upgrade gives it a bigger AOE and slows enemies.
