Plus I doubt Jefferson will actually kill Max (otherwise, it would have been easier to do it while she was sedated). I might also point out how bad things would look on Jefferson if another Student from his class was to completely vanish (and another tried to commit suicide). Killing Chloe, and in front of Max, was complete stupidity on his part too, as this connects three of his victims (although I doubt he knows that Chloe was friends with Rachel). However, I don't think he can dig himself out of this hole unless he kills Max, and waiting to take some photos beforehand is a pretty big risk

Yeah. That's true. However, we can see him prepare another dose as Max begs in the background, off-screen. Maybe the teaser scene is mid-episode, where he's done with the photos, and just wants to redrug her for the killing, since he won't do it right there in the bunker, but doesn't want Max to be awake for the ride to her... final... resting place...

Thus Nathan as his scapegoat would absolve him considering it is known that he and Max but heads.

I'm not sure Jefferson is a serial killer. 

 

He didn't kill Kate, even though he very well could have. Murder may not be his objective, and he may have killed Rachel Amber only because she regained consciousness and could identity him.  I wonder if except for Rachel, the other women in the binders are also alive like Kate.

 

Of course either way he's still a sicko. He's still a rapist and someone getting off on sadism, even if murder isn't his end goal.

So was anyone else surprised how cool Frank was with Max and Chloe? Or at least how cool he can potentially be, if you say the right things.

The opening was pretty heavy, even if it is pretty irrelevant.

 

Visiting Kate in the Hospital was nice.

 

Trying not to wound/kill Frank was time-consuming for me.

 

Then there was the detective stuff which was fairly fun. 

 

Didn't expect Rachel to be found at all, big bummer for Chloe.

 

Started to expect that Sean Prescott was going to be revealed as the actual big bad, although I did think the fan theory of Jefferson was very believable, so good on the devs for slightly redirecting my suspicions.

 

Chloe getting shot was a complete surprise,

So was anyone else surprised how cool Frank was with Max and Chloe? Or at least how cool he can potentially be, if you say the right things.

I rewound that like three times to get the best outcome.

 

I've been playing Max as kind of a hippy who is dead set against violence. I feel like that is in character for how she's portrayed.

 

On that note I also had her pull Warren off of Nathan.

True, Nathan is an excellent scapegoat, so long as Jefferson does get rid of all the evidence before attempting to kill Max (as Nathan could otherwise reveal the photos to the police if Jefferson was to attempt to put the murder on him). Your theory seems likely, as we know Nathan is trying to get rid of all the evidence via the text we receive at the party.  However, why would Jefferson wait to take the photo if he's going to kill her anyway? This doesn't make sense if he's going to destroy the rest of the evidence, which likely would include the rest of the photos.

I wonder if that could have been Jefferson sending the text. Luring them into a trap. He knew they were looking for Nathan. Nathan was absent so maybe Jefferson had enough of him? He could get rid of them both, setting it up as a murder suicide... everyone at that party is going to remember how deadly serious Max look & how badly she wanted Nathan found.

 Kate was clearly abused.  Though that's almost certainly on Nathan.  Still, if Jefferson lets Nathan manhandle his victims while they're doped up, that makes him an accessory at the very least.

The Universe has it in for Chloe thus Max keeps saving her. Give another soul in place of Chloe. The obvious choice is Max making the ultimate Sacrifice...but I say lets let someone else do it.
