Oh no, gotta save Kate.
I wonder if the universe has it out for Chloe.

Yep, it's on Steam right now. Downloading as we speak.
Hmm... I liked it. Minor gripe...
Overall its better than the last one, but it felt a lot shorter and had fewer key moments. There were a lot more things to do in EP 1 I feel, probably just to get the time mechanic figured out. Episode 2 makes better use of that mechanic but because of that seems to... Feel a bit on the breezy side.
Much, much better than episode 1, I'll say. There's still the case of irritating dialogue here and there, but Life is Strange has stepped it up a notch by actually introducing some thought-required gameplay mechanics through the workings of the dialogue tree in cohorts with the neat time-reverse mechanics. Chloe wants Max to prove her unique abilities, so the game actually asks the player to pay attention to the surroundings and the objects in her friends pocket in order to prove herself, you know, like you actually got a working brain and stuff, not to be switched off like you're watching some sort of interactive drama or something.
There's been more considerate thought put into how you solve intense situations by examining the environment, one particular intense and awful situation at the end of the episode will be heavily affected by certain choices, and if you paid enough attention through the whole thing, then you'll have the tools to assess the situation with a "good" outcome. I like that Life is Strange is going for weighty choices that actually feels weighty, which makes it easier to forgive if they ultimately don't change as much as they always do -- If the impact is big then that's all that matters. All in all, I think Life is Strange is getting much better and I hope they keep the thought-required-dialogue-puzzles in tact for future episodes.

It actually took me by surprise but I like that there was some effort involved in solving a few puzzles. That last time mechanic is awesome and having relied so much on your new ability gives more weight to the ending. I think I'll replay both episodes and tweak a few of my choices though.
Glad to see people enjoying it
I see. May as well start off with DC then. I was not crazy about Kian in Dreamfall either. That said, I miss April. I preferred her to Zoë even if she was a touch bitter in Dreamfall. XD Reading all this, I think I may revisit the previous two games to refresh my memory a bit before starting DC. Suddenly feeling nostalgic.
I don't know if I answered this one -- I've played Book 1 & 2 so far and I gotta say. They are good, like really good. Dreamfall has the advantage of carrying a lot of baggage but also a lot of lore and I think it really shines through when exploring Europolis in Stark, and now Marcuria in Book 2 as well. The world, the characters are as well rounded as ever and I actually like Kian a lot in Chapters -- I think his new voice being Nicholas Boulton is an improvement, as he gains a few more charisma points, not to mention Zoe's new voice actress which I also think is a vast improvement. I get the feeling April will be involved in the story in future Books from what I've played so far. All in all, play Chapters if you liked the previous games because I think Chapters is more worth it as a successor to Dreamfall.
I just finished episode 2, i kinda regret not answering Kate's call now since im guessing is a big reason why i got the downer ending
I can't believe I missed 3 of the photo opportunities in this episode.
I'm honestly loving Life is Strange, it's definitely becoming one of my favorite games.
Enjoying this so far...
One minor gripe...
Other than that, really loving it thus far.
WHOA!
I played Episode 2 finally, I mean, it's not really a proper video game, but it's at least kinda sorta one. Honestly I don't know how people get the impression that it's all dated or whatever I don't know many things that could be more topical and on point with things like..
Almost starts to feel like GOTY if it was an actual game, which it kinda isn't.. still pretty involving though for sure. I can't believe there are 3 episodes left.. getting really curious to see how this goes. Overall it felt like they were more confident in episode 2 with a lot of their ideas and design.
It is a video game though. Otherwise, you're on the money.WHOA!

I am loving this trailer so far but is it me or does it seem that frank dog might die while at the dinner idkw but it would explain why frank is trying to kill us there

[ spoiler ] spoiler stuff [ /spoiler ]
Like that, just without any spaces.
I don't think the last part needs to be in spoiler tags, since it's just speculation right now.
