This may be a bit subjective, but I honestly, dearly hope that the next Dragon Age game quits dumping all over the Grey Wardens. Seriously, the Wardens are one of the best concepts in the franchise, but every time we see them lately, they're either written as complete jerks or they have a death-grip on the idiot ball or everyone and their grandmothers is taking potshots at them, and I'm sick of it. Enough with the cynical deconstructions already, Bioware; you've created what's essentially the love-child between the Night's Watch and the Avengers, so quit screwing around by having them as antagonists/obstacles/punching bags, and give them some time to shine already!

Ahem...

Otherwise, I definitely think the elven gods and Neverra would be interesting topics to explore. With Neverra, we basically have a proud, expansionist nation that's a lot more liberal about magic than most of southern Thedas and with a looming succession crisis on the horizon, so there's lots of good stuff to explore with that. Maybe we'll even get some proper necromancers as well?

Tevinter vs Qunari. I'm honestly tired of the Grey Wardens and their shenanigans.

Huh funny thing I thought of the same thing except for a dlc and just having Falon'Din (God of Death) as the villain.

Picking a side between two villified societies?

Sounds like fun.

Choosing between the Tevinter Imperium and the Qunari? Is that even a question. :P

There can be only the Glorious Tevinter Imperium.

Right...but I doubt they will let us be pro Qun...because lets face it a whole other World state where the Qunari rule would be too much work for future games.

It just that DAI made them look so useless and incompetent and I rather not discover that the Wardens at the Anderfels are complete morons or once again have a "Civil War" because Bioware seems to love civil wars. Maybe save that for DA5.

I blame BioWare, and how they made them look useless and incompetent. I don't like how they weaken the entire order in DAI. We supposed to have strongholds and presence throughout Thedas, but now the entire chapter of Ferelden Wardens went missing, the infighting within, and the order are on the brink of extinction. I just don't like the lack of consistency in most recent BioWare games. They seems to forgot that the Wardens is stronger than this.

Sadly, I think we're going to discover that the Anderfels Wardens (at least the First Warden) are complete moron. BioWare really seems to love civil wars or infighting theme, and love to shove the Inquisition down our throat. Yeah, I was hoping the theme for the next DA game will be about Tevinter-Qunari war, and we can save that for DAI dlc, expansion or even DA5.

I for one hope that if Grey Wardens appear in DA4 have them do what they do best: Kill Darkspawn. I was honestly thinking of questline in the Deep Roads where we help the Wardens battle culmunating in a boss fight against a Qunari Broodmother.

I would like to see that as well, my friend. A Grey Wardens fulfill their duty and oath, do what they do best: Kill Darkspawn. I wonder if we'll ever meet Tevinter Wardens like Corin, who slay Zazikel during the Second Blight. It'll be interesting if there are a questline involving the Wardens, the Dwarves, Tevinter, Qunari in the Deep Roads...by the stone a normal Broodmother is bad enough, but a Qunari Broodmother spawn a horde of Ogre.

I figure the Imperium may have use of this heathen, should he decides to open his eyes to the truth and abandon the Qun. :P

It is you who needs to open your eyes.  The war is already won.  You just hide your head in your cave and can't see reality.  History should tell you enough.

Oh my, such a big word for a talking cow. And you still wonder why we Dwarves haven't forged alliance with your kind. Would you care to prove it? Or are every Qunari all talk. :P

They aren't Gods,  just people who sought the attention of god or gods after they felt forgotten.

What are you talking about? Elven gods existed and Solas refers them as people. Mythal was goddess for example. But were they truly gods? I guess we will find out. Anyway they weren't ordinary people either and it really doesn't matter were they truly gods or not. I just want them to return.

@Qun00

I think all of us can agree that it's been done to death at this point.

Well, Tevinter/Qunandar is basically the Mage/Templar conflict but exponentially worse since both sides support absolutely disgusting things.

One side supports beautiful perfection and the other supports a savage religion just to keep them in check.

No, one side supports the sacrifice of people for deplorable reasons and the other supports the indoctrination of people. And both support slavery and dream of conquering the world. It's funny how similar yet opposite they are.

Because apparently Southern Thedas is clearly a perfect place free from corruption, any kind of evil, and Orlais is soooo like a bastion against all evil. They never ever trrrrrryyyy to conquer the world for their own, and never slaughter other races before. Orlesian is a nicest people. Oh wait. :P

Did I ever say any different? I hate Orlais as much as I hate Tevinter and the Qun. I was just musing about how the Vint/Qun conflict is the M/T conflict cranked to the max in bad.

The problem with doing a game centered around the Qunari vs. Tevinter means they run the risk of repeating one of DAII's worst elements: forcing the player to choose between two equally wretched factions, neither of whom are sympathetic. With something like, say, Bhelen vs. Harrowmont, both had their virtues and legitimate reasons to support one or the other. With the Qunari vs. Tevinter, again, like Mages vs. Templars, it's mostly going to come down to who you hate the least, and that'll wear itself thin really fast.

Not necessary, we already have Tevin such as Dorian and Calpernia(well, if she survived) to be the third party in a Tevinter major theme. And to be honest, the Qun is not that vilify, at least not as much as Tevinter.

I would definitely like them to finally get into the Qunari conflict if they're going up north.

Maybe a return to the blood magic specialty since we'll be in tevinter (hopefully). I'd definitely love to create a neutral evil character since all of my other canon characters have been on the spectrum of Lawful good ->Chaotic neutral. He'd definitely be a blood mage this time (since I've never played one) who isn't "pure evil" but he/she is so engrossed into tevinter culture, they don't understand how distasteful the culture can be.
