Nahhh.
I don't let morons ruin things for me. I'm not that easily swayed.
I'm assuming you're referring to the BSN, though? ![]()

Yep. Fanbase outcry about DA:O combat being too slow encouraged Bioware to invent Awesome Buttom™ tech. Apparently people liked it so much that Bioware gone even further and here we are, with current joke of a combat.
Awesome.

Well, I don't bother discussing Doctor Who with other "fans" anymore, I can tell you that.
This goes for me the same with the Avatar fanbase and also the Naruto fanbase.

Nope. I Judge the game.
This is very much the case for me as well. Reviews, fan reactions...I really don't pay any attention to that. If I'm interested in a game, I am going to buy and play it and form my own opinion about it.
That seems to work well for me.

Fanbase managed to convince me that PS3 port of DAI would be just miss some unimportant NPC's and graphic would be lower but up to PS3 standard. Let's just say that the release was huge disapointed after that when seeing how bad the porting in reality is.

No.....I don't rely on other people to make my choices for me or tell me what to do and someones opinion on something literally affects me in no way.
Trolls run my life though.

Me too. I love the show, but I stay the hell away from any DW forums.
People at conventions tend to generally be okay though.

I will never be able to think of Tali without seeing the sweat analysis that one f*ck posted, so yes.

LOL!!!
I "like" that a thousand fold.
I was grossed out... more by the fact that somebody actually made it rather than the "sweat" content...

It seems that the opinion about ventilating your thoughts about a certain game (in this case DAI) is swaying the other way around. I just do not hope that gamers (very often being old time fans) that 'complain' are now only given little consideration or even going to be black booked.
And i do know, as i've been moderator of a few forums in the past, that forums are often used as a place to complain and rant, rather than being used for approval. I do agree that ranting, trolling and name calling should not be allowed. But if there's something that is disliked, it should be allowed to be discussed or argued about.

That was irritating, but what really put me off was the thing about where they store their bodily waste. I think it's in one of the novels? Jiggly bumbum magic totally gone.

"Has a fanbase ever ruined something for You?".
At times yes, some suggestions from the Heroes of Might and Magic III fans broke parts of Heroes IV.
But most times no. Releasing a game to the public is the best game testing a developer will ever get, so they'd better listen to the feedback ![]()
Some suggestions may improve a game, other may break it, and oftentimes you can't really tell until you play it.
Playing Inquisition I find combat to be broken in the sense that it is dull, tedious, repetitive, button-mashing, frustrating and stupid ![]()
My no. 1 suggestion is to add the IF THEN customizable tactics from Origins and DA2, this would solve so many problems, game improved ![]()

Can you explain the sweat mechanics? I know tali has a sealed suit, but i'm not sure what you mean?
I never completed Mass Effect 3 It was ... too linear for me.

Wot. ![]()
You's are asking me as if I made the damn thing.
I have no idea how said mechanics work as I've only just recently heard about it myself.
Basically... I was reading a thread about how there are too many females in DA:I. I saw something about a "Tali sweat graph".
I said...
Wot. Is this actually a "thing"?
Somebody then proceeded to link me to some pseudo-scientific garbage graph that I literally looked at for two seconds and moved on. My fascination and amusement with the BSN sky-rocketed, to say the least.
Also, it has apparently inspired other like-minded individuals to make pseudo-scientific graphs with BW character themes... one in particular was a graph posted in the Solas thread, which detailed a fangirl's stage of love/obsession with Solas.
And other than what I have written here... can't think of any other way to enlighten you guys.
If you're lucky, perhaps somebody somewhere on here had taken the time to save the graph and can show you.

This, the BSN can certainly be trying at times. People seem to think it's Tumblr where they can endlessly bleet on about social change, misogyny and other such subjects. But the forums don't affect my enjoyment of the actual games. So long as the two stay seperate and the forums don't actively force their influence on the games, i'm good.

Yes, I liked the original ME3 ending, it didn't need the EC

LOL!!!
And it's that "bleeting" that actually ruins the game... but I won't get into that into great detail, don't want to bleet myself.
