Does anyone actually listen to the conversations in Skyhold.
Was running through the hall today and overheard a conversation regarding the Maker, Darkspawn, Wardens and an old family sword. Could it be the kid (now grown) that gave up the family sword in Redcliff?
Another conversation heard near the stables was obviously talking about Fairbanks.
And let's not forget the gossips that will talk about your current LI.
I try to but they tend to cease if you so much as move from your spot.
Still, I think my favourite one was between an elf and a Chantry Sister.
Those who know me know I don't appreciate elves. They don't like us and we don't like them, that is fine by me.
So, I was walking around Haven when one says this to a Chantry Sister:
"You think you have all the answers but you don't."
So, here I am all ready to endure a self righteous diatribe about some elven misfortune or another that is totally human's fault for reasons and already hoping there is a way to shut him up when he comes out with this:
"We have the Herald of Andraste and his word is good enough for me."
Well, sh*t. Now I feel guilty.
There's a lot of fun ambient banter, yes. A sister trying to talk her angry, grieving brother out of running off and doing something stupid. Suspicious mutterings about the Grey Wardens. Gossip about Blackwall that changes its tune something fierce after his personal quest. People debating the decisions you make in judgment prisoners. And, of course, some rather strange happenings around the keep ... which turn out to be Cole's unique way of helping.
