As we know the game is full of wonderful dialogue by interesting characters.

What are your favourite sentences out of the blue that instantly made you like a certain character?

For the life of me I can't remember two such sentences that actually made me laugh out loud, but one I will never forget is Iron Bull's comment about redheads. That alone made me love the guy.

Haha.. I'm not sure if she said that to me but I was talking with her about the same guy and and was like: Grow up, kid! This is life, not a playground.

Rarely something provokes me that hard. I knew she was recruitable but at that point I decided I'm not gonna regret my decision.

Gotta admit, Bioware is good at this. Arl Howe and Teyrn Loghain in Origins did the same for me.

I like the dialogue with Blackwall when you first meet.

 

Quizzy: (something along these lines) "I'm finding hard to see any use for you. What exactly can a grey warden do to help?"

Blackwall: "Save the effing world if pressed."

 

Instantly gave me a flashback to DA"O and I smiled a little.

VahnXIII, That was exactly the one I had forgotten. At that point I just knew Blackwall is my guy.

I like the dialogue with Blackwall when you first meet.

When you bring her with you to negotiate with the mages, after Fiona reveals her deal with Alexius, Viv says "Fiona, dear, your dementia is showing."

It's not so much what she said but how she said. Indira Varma nails it.

In the recruitment mission, I was sold when I heard her say:

On my second playthrough, I discovered she gives the guy quite a tongue lashing if you select the indifferent option.

That's the option I chose in my first time through her recruitment. Fun times!

Vivienne is probably one of the best characters in DAI, if only because of the number of people who react negatively to her.

Mary Kirby must be satisfied...

 

As Sera eloquently says:

I got to flirt with Harding today.
I just wanna roll a Qunari and romance her if you know what I mean.

But yeah, both Dagna and Harding are adorable. Before DA:O I was totally sure female dwarves don't exist, or at least they shouldn't exist.

I never really thought much of Iron Bull until I brought him and Sera into the Fade.

 

"Hey Chief, lets join the Inquisition!  Good fights for a good cause!" I dont know Krem, I hear there are demons.  "Ah, don't worry about the demons Chief!  I'm sure we won't see many".....  A**hole!

Sera: So, we hurt a real ******! But you swoop in? We help people, but it helps you more? (Frustrated growl.)
Vivienne: Try not to cry openly, dear, it is ever so demeaning.
