I have little problem, beacuse in Dragon Age Awakening i saved Nathniel and in Dragon Age II i saved Merin on Deep Roads but i cant choose both. I can only pick living Nathaniel or saving Merin. Why i cant pick both? Bug?

Because if Nathaniel is alive in Awakening you don't encounter Merin in deep roads you get Nathaniel instead

The bug is that DA2 frequently imported DAO data incorrectly so that Nathaniel was dead when he shouldn't be. The Keep is set up to replicate how things were supposed to work.
