Does someone have a list of how to earn each Gold Medal?

How many kills are needed for Maul Kills, how many for Staff kills, how many for Spell kills, what other medals are available, etc.

Probably the easiest way is to solo routine.  Doing so you will receive at least gold medals for weapon kills (50), kill streaks (15?), and ability kills (20?).  These are based on Threatening level.  Don't quote me officially on those numbers though; not 100% sure (I really should pay attention...).

 

We have an awesome community here who will likely provide accurate info for you.

Medals that I can remember:

 

Weapon Kills - 50

New Immortal - Don't die during the match

Kill streaks - 15

Team Combo - I believe it is 25

Perilous Operation complete

Ability Kills - 50

-          50 kills with (weapon) (whatever your current weapon is)

-          50 kills with abilities (ability kills also count toward weapon kills)

-          20 combos

-          15 killstreak

-          Immortal (complete the round without falling)

-          Operation Complete: Perilous

If it is, why qualify the statement with "in a single round?" The only possible reasons would be:

 

1) Some medals are mutually exclusive

2) Some medals require actions spanning multiple rounds

 

Maybe it's because I edit for a living and have a way of taking things literally.

I'm not sure if above is correct in the case of staff vs ability kills for the mages. I ended up with no gold after 32 staff and 40 ability kills.

You sure it wasn't 40 staff and 32 ability? The ability kills are counted as staff kills so unless theres an ability that isn't counting as staff kills its impossible to have more ability kills than staff kills. Either way niether was 50 so why would you get gold?
