So pretty random question, but have you ever noticed bullet holes on the Citadel even before the Cerberus coup? I could understand why they would be there afterwards but in every playthrough I've had there have been a few bullet ridden walls (and even a couple of explosion scorch marks) in the presidium commons. So has this just happened for me or has anyone else got this? And if everyone has got this, why? Anyway, my guess is a glitch.

There is a bigger story behind that. Mysterious Holes. Keepers Invasion. BSN slutty characters/make-overs thread.

find out in ME 4: The Bullet Holes Investigation

I think it is just a symptom of the game being rushed. Another oddity is that after the Cerberus coup some parts of the Citadel not only remain in disrepair, but you still see billowing smoke long afterward.

I wouldn't really call it rushed since it got the same development time as ME2.

It's a glitch. I've seen it in a few playthroughs, but the majority of the time I never come across it. Not sure what causes it.
