And mine will continue to redeem him,i don't like to waste resources
You mean Loghain? Honestly, it doesn't seem like recruiting him makes any difference. There will be only three Grey Wardens on the battlefield, just the same.
And mine will continue to redeem him,i don't like to waste resources
Loghain has shown me he will not show pity if my warden looses the Landsmeet. So,in return I kill that asp of a man.
I cant find a good reason to sacrifice your warden if Loghain is a grey warden though.
Loghain basically wants to sacrifice himself to make up for all the mistakes hes done.
The only reason to sacrifice yourself would be to give him the finger (which is a pretty inept reason imo).
Still struggling what to chose. Havent seen the Flemeth DR scene yet though (Im almost at that part atm).
Maybe it will make me change my mind.
DR is prolly the more intresting plot development of the two choices. I just have a easier time justifying sacring a warden than bringing a god child to the world for unknown reasons.
One of my most interesting playthrough is the Super Racist Dalish Elf game. Choose the Dalish Elf, warrior or rogue, and just be as extreme as possible. Side against any human, or elf who associates with humans. Dwarves can go either way. Side with the Templar over the Mages because when Dalish go abomination it's everyone's job to put them down without question. Slaughter the werewolves. Kill Zevran for associating with humans. Tell Alistar to bug off, because he's a human and just been following you around for ages. Don't pick up Leliana, free Sten (human murder isn't a crime!). Keep Morrigan around because of the Flemeth promise. Let Oghren tag along? If you want.
And that's how you keep Loghain and kill yourself. Because it's not what he wanted.
^It's akin to impossible to find a good reason fo perform the US with Loghain at Fort drakon with the warden, the dalish elf you described dislike humans and that's why he should gladly kill Loghain with the archdemon
The OP is right i can't find a good reason unless you want to pull tragedy stuff on purpose
Loghain is even more older than the warden of at least 20 years so it does not make sense to save him with the US he clearly was designed to be a good archdemon killer
Bioware played unfair at the landsmeet with their plot hole with Riordan and Duncan and the US to make the DR appealing, otherwise nobody would have killed Loghain.
German Solider on the contrary I would kill Loghain for his crimes against humanity, treason, and sending assassins after my warden.
I will never pardon him.. He's a asp of a man that almost doom Ferelden and maybe all Thedas had he manage to kill the last two wardens. I suspect he would have imprison or killed Riorden since he was a Orlasian.
Besides how could I even think of arming a man that wanted my warden dead? He has prove his self to be a traitor.

I pimp out Alistair every time.

Damn, that's some insane human hatred that you'll kill yourself to spite one human lol.
I think better motivation would be to go with the sacrifice so an elf (and not a human) goes down in history as the hero.
But that is not a good reason either, since nobody know of the sacrifice aside form the GW,so you may as well use Loghain to kill the archdemon then brag about that you killed it,since everyone will believe the HoF aside from the GW who know the truth, but then again they have to keep the secret...
Scret Rare, I still don't like the idea of arming Loghain since he's mentally unbalance. His rant didn't earn him any forgiveness points in my games either and had the opposite effect. He proved he was mentally unstable.
Yes,that Morrigan discussion was interesting.
