Ok the rules of this thread are:

 

List one thing that really annoys you. (Peeves)

List one thing you really like (Pleasures)

List one thing that you would like to know the answer to or just a general question. (Ponderings)

Peeve: I can't stand when people spell "a lot" as one word.

Pleasure: A nice calming massage after a stressful day.

Pondering: Why don't they sell Coke-a-Cola in glass bottles in the UK and US any more?

Peeve: People saying "I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less"
Pleasure: Having a nice warm bed on a cold day
Pondering: Why does Hollywood insist on ruining so many classic movies/tv shows/toys by rebooting them into generally terrible movies

Peeve: So many people not saying "please" or "thank you" anymore.

Pleasure: A loooooooong walk in the rain.

Pondering: Why must morning come?

Because then when else would we get to have breakfast? The most important and delicious meal of the day.

Pleasure: having a cold beer after a long work day
Pondering: why do people get so offended and upset over fiction that was never intended to be taken seriously in the first place? (like comedies)

Because they don't really have any answers, and they play you as you're stupid, and subconsciously you know it all.

Because of habit, I guess, and a slight social need to communicate and touch.

 

 

Peeve: That my plans and projects are larger than my life. (in particular they take longer)

Pleasure: Waking up on a morning, when I have nothing planned and no one expects or demands anything of me.

Pondering: Why don't people appreciate things done right, believable and authentic anymore?

Dunno about the US but they still sell them in the UK...

They also sell them in certain spots in the U.S. I remember getting glass bottles on the island of Kauai on Hawaii as a child. Edit: I believe some stores like Costco also sell them in glass bottles as well.

Answer: To each his own.  I don't really understand why current country music is so popular, it all sounds the same to me, but a lot of people *really* like it (especially here).

 

Peeve: leaving things in the sink instead of just putting them in the dishwasher if it's empty/not actively running.  I mean it is maybe 6 inches away!!!!

Peeve: too many -ists around and they don't listen to anything sensible you say.

Sometimes, my eyes aren't very good without my glasses, so I sometimes genuinely can't tell if the seat is down or not.

 

Peeve: Leaving time on the microwave after they are done using it.

Pleasure: Listening to EXA_PICO music really loudly.

Pondering: If the 4 dimension is time, and the 5th dimension is possiblity, what is the 6th?

 Why don't they sell Coke-a-Cola in glass bottles in the UK and US any more?

Where I live in Southern California, I can buy Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, and Fanta in the classic glass bottles. They're made in Mexico and use real sugar instead of corn syrup ^.^

Pleasure: Being by myself.

Pondering: Do PS4 games load faster when using the disc, or when you digitally download the whole game?
