What is wrong with the Kardashians and society in general in showing the slightest interest in the Kardashians?

It is a bit of an indictment into today's culture of celebrity obsession/cult hood. The Kardashians are the embodiment of this, as they have no claim to fame other than being famous. It's a bit of a sick cycle where they were given a reality show for being the most D list of celebrity families, yet this turned into a sick fascination with their dysfunction that it made them ACTUALLY famous. Any attention paid to them is really the result of a bizarre echo chamber effect of celebrity stalking that resulted in them becoming celebrities.
