no mouse cursor?

I see no mouse cursor.  I can still use the mouse but I sort of have to wave it around until something in the menu gets highlighted.  I can also use the keyboard arrow keys, but hitting enter has no effect so that's not really useful at all.  Really annoying to say the least.  Anyone figure this one out?

update: it seems I get the cursor if I run in windowed mode. still not showing up in fullscreen though.

no one else has had this problem? this is on gtx 260, windows 7 latest nvidia drivers.

this is a major bummer getting really tired of windowed mode

got the same problem here. just ported my steam account incl. ME2 to my new pc and gone was the mouse cursor in fullscreen... checking for windowed mode now

working in windowed mode and set to use fullscreen resolution: got the cursor back X) thanks for the tip.

Had to use windowed mode, boarderless, set to fullscreen to get my cursor back. Wish they would tell us how to try things like this.

AFAIK, the mouse pointer is just fine, unless you have applied some animation effect to it (many Windows themes will do so). The "Mouse Trails" animation is an example. You don't want that interfering with your game, so turn it off.

There is an option in the mouse control panel for "hide pointer while typing". Disable that if its enabled.

Disabling mouse trails worked for me. Thanks for the tips people.
I should have looked this up a few years ago. Had this problem in several of my games.
