Allan, I know you don't make the calls on what's upcoming and you may be limited as to what you can say, but I have a question I would dearly love answered, if possible.
I am one of the people who was hit with the voice change bug. I don't have an earlier save.
Is there anything in the works, at all, that will work similarly to this patch 4?
Somehow patch 4 was able to identify the shields affected by the glitch that had already been crafted, and it was able to correct them.
Is there not a parallel fix possible for those of us whose voices were flicked to the wrong switch? If something as minor as a shield stat going from front to side can be retroactively corrected it seems something as major as a character generated trait should be easier to identify a fix for.
I suspect a console command could do it, were we permitted to use such. Set_Inq_speech_male_02 or some such. (I know that looks nothing like a viable but you get my point.)
Frankly I've been lucky. Avoided all stuttering, crashing, reskinning, etc. At least I think I have. I haven't loaded since Patch 2 because I simply cannot bring myself to either a) continue playing my character after being abducted and subjected to some nifty voice box adjustments... or
restarting to grind through 80% of the game to get to where I am at.
I don't want to abuse this renewed contact we have but I just really need to see a light at the end of the tunnel, sir.
