Well here I am.

Another person that doesn't agree with the latest patch.

I downloaded it without reading up on it first. If I had known a lot of glitches would be implemented instead of removed, I would've skipped this patch untill it was fixed.

Then there's the issue of the duplicate exploit. This has been in Dragon Age Origins; Awakening AND Dragon Age 2. Why remove it now after all these years?

I am a busy student with a side-job. And I don't have a lot of time to play video games. So I can't be arsed to farm for materials in the 1, maybe 2 hours I can play a game.

Get your **** together BioWare. This thing wasn't hurting anybody. Now it's hurting a LOT of people.

Also, In all these pages, I haven't seen a single BioWare rep speaking up about why they implemented a new patch. So I honestly have no Idea why they even made a discussion thread for their new patches.

I've just hit a bug

Blackwalls Judgement when i click the throne its loads a black screen for ages then when it returns i'm standing there every ones waiting for judgement including Blackwall but i cannot sit in the throne, i can move around the keep freely but the cutscene will not fire..

I rolled back to an older save and it still failed..

Rolled back to an even earlier save and saw Cullen had a quest to turn in about Samson (not his judgement an earlier quest about three notices in emerald graves) after that Blackwall's Judgement seemed to work..

I had no other judgements waiting either..

Just wanting to also voice my sadness at the removal of the dupe glitch. My ps4 updated automatically without my knowing. I spent sooooo many hours on my first playthrough trying to get the stuff I needed; I am not doing that again. Like many, this removes the replay value of the game for me, as I really enjoyed crafting and kitting my team out in stuff I liked, but I simply can't face grinding forever. I mean, I cannot justify the amount of time it takes.

My dad died last month and Inquisition has been a lifesaver, it really has. I don't want to complain about the game because of how much it now means to me. But dammit, this 'fix' has seriously removed one of the most enjoyable aspects for me, as I'm a weirdo and would rather craft than quest.

If you're more into crafting, try out this game.

http://www.gamefaqs....chemist-of-dusk

It's part of an entire series of similar games I think. Never tried it myself tbh, but I've seen some trailers. If you really enjoy crafting more than the questing in DAI, I think this series might be perfect for you. Check it out if you feel like it.

I, too, request that BioWare bring back the item duplication exploit.

Thought it was a nice little homage to the same exploit we experienced in both DA: Origins and II.

While the game is amazing to play through without using the exploit, I must say it was quite fun to waltz through the enemy in a sort of god mode with top shelf armors, weapons and runes.

You guys are lucky. I HAVE to download the patch that removes the dupe or it exits me out of the game. Playing on Xbox 360. It says for me that it's a mandatory patch.

Huh? I'm playing on xbox 360 and I don't have that problem. Still playing and still not patched.

At first I thought there was no damn way they didn't intentionally put (or leave in) the item duplication glitch.  Now that they have removed it it just shows how incompetent they are.

Not to harp (well maybe a little), but I'm still getting crashes on the Xbox One right after using Tactician's Renewal. Also ability rings still don't work. :(

I agree item duping shouldn't be patched out. It doesn't negatively impact anyone, and quite frankly I might have used it after some recent events: it took me 2404 Snoufleur skins (I checked before selling most of it) before I got a Fade-Touched version with heal on hit. Now that is a terrible drop rate.

I doesn't use the exploit so I downloaded the patch. Not because I am on the Bioware side (quite the opposite in fact) but I don't hope to complete the game totally. I just want to finish this damn game so I can play at something else and forget this crap!

5 hour of wandering for now and 5 banters. One per hour!

NPC talks two times at the same time around 1/3 of the time, giving headaches.

Music popin and fadeout at Matrix speed.

Companion AI seems to became stupid : archers tend to tank and tankers to run away...

Still got the enemies popup and vanishing in thin air, rendering my Inquisitor archer totally useless.

Well, I'll be back with more info if I finally can past through the SkyHold moment!

Well like you I bought this game in the hopes of having something new to play (talking to gamers, since they are the only ones that listen).  With Dragon Age in the title I expected so much more polish and cool choices that seriously impacted the game....ahhhhh!!!!...there I feel better.

So I welcome you to SWTOR  a real MMO, not this Quasi Rift's reject.  It's free to play to wet your appetite.  It proves that when these nugs apply themselves they can kick out a decent game.  Everyone talks to you and you get to smash stuff...vent...romance...oh and it friggin runs smooth.

Well I thought I would try to bring some joy in to your lives after this big let down.....

P.S.  You can't Force Choke Bioware/EA I tried.

Is BioWare even reading these posts?

Honestly I'm not a big fan of the BioWare Or the dragon age saga, but after I bought the game for my curiosity, I come to enjoy it, until I went on YouTube and learn about the dupe/gold exploits and I Really started to enjoy it more. I mean after a long days work I would hop on the game, see what I can craft up to enjoy without having to farm, it was a very unique fun tool, and because of that exploit I purchased previous dragon age games to get in to the DA world.

But now after a long day, I come home, turn on the game, try to play with the game, instead of losing my mind in crafting, now I have no choice to mindlessly farm, which makes the game kinda dull, if I wanted to waste my time farming, I would of joined my son on a life wasting MMO game like WoW or whatever mmo that's out there.

I mean make changes to the multiplayer gameplay, not the single player mode which is doing no harm except increasing the enjoyment of others. But as for now, I won't be playing the DAI game as much as before, like I want to, shoot I might have to return the game to the store.

So please BRING BACK THE GOLD/DUPE EXPLOITS for console players such as myself and others, thank you.

Oh they read, they just don't know how to say: "We don't know what's happening, so we fixed the only thing we knew, the dupe-glitch we put on purpose even in the two previous games."

Bioware fire your beta testers.

They're incompetent.

We are the beta testers. Jesus, even the Keep is in its beta version, they weren't even able to complete it before the game's release.

I'm pretty upset they fixed the dupe glitch.... This game already has ENOUGH mindless tasks to complete without adding to the irritation of always having to collect crafting materials. I played my canon playthrough without any exploits- now I'm just playing for fun and I don't want to run around mindlessly collecting dawnstone or Everite. It's ridiculous. It wasn't hurting anything and people didn't have to use it if they didn't want to.

The game has SOOO many other things that need fixing and this is what they patched? Thanks a lot.

Posting again because that's how truly upset I am about this patch:

BIOWARE HEAR MY PLEA!!!

Bring back the dupe glitch. I really love this game but will probably never play again if it isn't brought back. I realize you don't care because you have already taken my money but if you have ever cared for your fans at all please change it. Or at least make it so we can buy unlimited materials of any type from any vendor. It's hard enough to collect the schematics and now you want to force us to spend endless hours collecting mats.... Ergh.

Worst yet- ps4 can't even delete that one lone patch. So my options are to delete my game install and play with a broken glitched game or lose the best "feature" it had...

Raging so hard now it isn't even funny.

Please make Cassandra & Josephine look more feminine and less mannish.  I'm straight, they're the only two options I have in the game.

Please give us the same level of control over our companions as we had in DAO & DA2.

Please give us a storage container.

Can any one tell me if the latest patch causes problems with banter on PS4. Didn't have any problems previously, but suddenly I get pretty much no banter.

How come no response to the thread that pops up in google BEFORE your patch notes?
http://forum.bioware...le-player-mode/

Can you at least respond here? We have serious questions regarding the poor decision to remove the dupe exploit. More than half of your fan base does not want this exploit removed yet there is no response.
We want the dupe exploit back and if we can be promised then we will all download the patch but many of us refuse as the SP take precedence to the MP for many of us.
I LOVE the MP but I can't play this weekend or next because I refuse to install the patch.

Or do something about that ridiculous grind and RNG loot, so the dupe glitch is no longer needed (significantly increase drop rates of fade-touched materials or adding them to vendors, etc.). That would work for me as well.

Problem with that is the tiny bit of gold you get. What 100 gold is a LOT? In a rare chest? Come on. Every kill should give you gold automatically like exp and THEN we can talk about purchasing mats

Oh dear - so you are saying that this patch actually created problems (minimal banter and long loading times) on my PS4 where previously I had reasonable loading times, and lots of banter? YIKES!!!!!

Will the next patch fix this? Can I get rid of the last patch somehow? I am using a PS4.

Yeah, that would have to go hand in hand. But to be honest, I had more gold than I could use, in the late I game I just kept buying influence till I got it to lvl 20.

I've completely given up on even playing this game. Took me almost 2 weeks to even get it to work reasonably, then it gets ruined after each patch that the people at Bioware are obviously not even bothering to see if it works. This was the only recent game I've bought in a couple years, and it's completely turned me off. It's ridiculous how many companies are releasing games that are practically unplayable, and most have EA somewhere on the box. Should have known better, but I'll just have to get over the fact I've wasted my 60$, and remember to never trust another Bioware title. So disappointing...huge fan of the ME and DA series, but they've done nothing but go downhill. Definitely will not be purchasing ME4. I hope everybody who is also dissatisfied will also reconsider buying anymore of their titles. We will continue to get games in their beta stage as long as we keep buying broken ass games just because they slap a name we're familiar with on it. Companies are now ALL about the money. While I'm sure they were like that before, at least they had the courtesy of releasing a finished game. *Big ass sigh*....

I have to say that up until the last patch I had no problems playing on my PS4.  This patch seems to have increased loading times and reduced banter, but the game is still fine overall and a ton of fun to play!

Having said that I have to say I understand how you feel. I was never able to play Skyrim to the end. My PS3 version was so screwed! It froze several times an hour- and was unplayable. I vowed never to buy another Bethesda product and could not believe how the game could have been launched with so many bugs and problems.  Yet, Skyrim won award after award and an immense amount of critical acclaim. I have to say that I found Bethesda very unresponsive and unsympathetic to the concerns of consumers.

I am sorry your game is broken. The game is quite spectacular in many ways. Hope one of the next patches fixes things for you~
