I wont mind the item dupe taken away (focus more unique items!) but performance/game crashing bugs hurt!!

They won't do that, since then pirates could use it. DA Keep is one of the incentives to buy the game.
(If you can change your world state by using cheat engine or other tools, I retract my statement.)
Pretty sure the game state is able to be altered, and I am positive there are people out there working on this type of solution.... wink, hint, nudge...... not saying I am but I do know a few people who might be trying it.
What happens to all of the in game content once the keep is no longer supported?
My exact reasoning for pointing out that they need to create a downloadable version for both PC and Console users, and implement the change over code in a seperate patch. Thanks C0uncil0rTev0s for answering this statement the way you did as I have C/P'ed your comment below.
Do you know of a magic trick?,,,
*Poof* It's gone...
Exactly my point........
in DA 2 at the mages and rouges were good fighters, in dai they are but a joke no way I'm the only one who feels this way,
PS at least in DA 2 the mages and rouges fault well big deal the rouges can dive but cannot defend the mages stand and also do not defend as in da 2 at least there the would hit the enemy with there staff and not simply stand as a helpless target,
the least you idiots can do is provide us with the ability to find the resources you have deny'ed us with the dup glitch fix. Take it that's not my concern i complain of the lack of ability to locate resources with out it such as dragons blood or the pure dragons blood also the fade touched materials must we spend hours and days to find these things
Ok not sure why you think mages and rogues suck in DAI, and even if you are not the only one to think this.... it is still a matter of opinion.... personally I have more trouble with the tanks of the game than the mages or rogues.... and I always first run through on a rogue, then mage and finally the meat shield......
Still the game is not what is was before the recent patch. Oh wait thats because I CANNOT even load my saves anymore so this playthrough 120+ hours down the drain......
Agreed on the resources however, as I pointed out previously.....however as far as the Dragons blood issue goes, thats a meh situation, as the augment is only useful against Demons and Undead.... youre better served by using the Purifying runes, at least IMHO (granted you have to get arcane horror and revenant hearts but still)....

(granted you have to get arcane horror and revenant hearts but still)....
Funny thing, I cleared the whole game, did every quest, cleared every dungeon and so on and there are not enough revenant hearts to craft even 1 rune

Flickering textures with SLI enabled still occur. My quest Apostates in Witchwood is still in a broken state with no apostates left to kill but the quest will not complete.
<- Flickering issue
SLI is something basic that a so called AAA title should just get right, especially considering this is based on the Frostbite engine. Couldn't you ask one of the people over at Dice to show your developers how to do it right? Didn't Mark Darrah try to sell the PC crowd this game by stating that the PC version would get the love it deserved? Not seeing any proof of that right now...
Also, silly things like post-processing motion blur. If I cause my character to strafe, motion blur is applied to my character, despite the fact that my character is staying stationary in my field of view. It's small things like this that really break immersion....and it's the big things like constantly flickering textures with SLI enabled that completely destroy immersion.
Today was the first time in a month I'd started up the game and saw in Origin that there was an update. I was hopeful they had fixed this stuff finally and I wouldn't feel so irked playing the game that I'd just close it down and do something else. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, this is EA after all... I miss the old Bioware.

I downloaded the patch on xbox360, and it fixed the missing Dorian quest for me! Thank you Bioware!
I loaded a save in my first playthrough (around 120h of gameplay) and when I went to talk to Dorian it just poped up! ![]()

I am pretty sure it was mentioned already, but just in case:
Sera's additional potions from her Tempest ability are always missing after returning to Skyhold. (I am not sure if it was so before patch since I got that ability for her after it.)
It is not a big deal, I hardly use even half of them anyway, but still a bit annoying.

I am on my second play-thru.
Is this patch related? It worked fine on my first game.
The auto save actually says Skyhold, but I know they are not there yet.

A couple of things re the patch on PS4
There is now an issue with leaving the Grand Ballroom for the Vestibule in Wicked Hearts. When in the Ballroom at the door to the Vestibule, sometimes the X is for the Vestibule, but if you move a bit to the right, the X says Grand Ballroom. If you click Grand Ballroom, the room you're already in, by mistake it can glitch, especially when you're supposed to go talk to Leliana after being introduced to Celene. If you make sure to hit the right X, you're alright, but otherwsie at the very least, you're looking at a very long load time. Not sure why I'm suddenly seeing the X from the wrong side of the "door". Never had a problem with this part pre-patch.
Also, I had some banter issues pre-patch, but then banter returned (after I deleted a character, so maybe that was why?). Siince the patch, I've played about 20 hours and have 3 or fewer banters (although I do get environmental comments). Doesn't seem to matter where I am - Hinterlands, Emerald Graves, Exalted Plains, Crestwood, etc. - eerily quiet. Tried mixing up my party, hanging out doing nothing (so exciting!), etc., but nothing seems to get my folks - primarily Cass, Solas and Cole - to talk. Pre-patch in the current playthrough I had decent banter, maybe not firing as much as I would like, but at least firing occasionally. Now I'm back to eery quiet, it's kind of creepy.
Same here. After Patch 1.04 every time I tried to go from the Vestibule to the Grand Ballroom there was an infinite black loading screen and I had to load a previous save.
Also zero banter after the patch. Kudos, BioWare.

Not sure where to put this as I'm new to the forums but have been tracking this thread. Since I don't foresee them putting the dupe exploit back maybe we could ask for a tier 3/4 merchant to sell mats later in the game and also for the ability to salvage the useless stuff that we all most likely just sell to a merchant anyway. That ability is already in MP. I don't see why it couldn't be transferred over (though I'm not even in the same universe as a dev so idk) to SP and give us a little more freedom to move though the game without having to stop every 10 feet to collect mats. I'd rather just loot enemy corpses and break down their stuff. I've got 5 inky's going and have yet to finish the game on one because I hop from one to the other. I'd love to continue playing them and finish each but I'll admit my desire has waned after not being able to outfit my teams the way I want.
Also, after the patch, completing Varric's 'Well, ****' quest doesn't trigger the wicked grace scene for me. ![]()

I had this problem when doing Champions of the Just and trying to hold the great hall, when I was going to the other areas the selection would jump from say officers quarters to the great hall so you had to get the angle just right

Also, after the patch, completing Varric's 'Well, ****' quest doesn't trigger the wicked grace scene for me.
PS4 and I'm having this problem as well. Also, Varric now starts every conversation other than a cut scene with asking me about Three Eyes (I took the artificer spec), even if I've already answered and run through all possible topics previously. If I weren't trying so hard to trigger the Wicked Grace scene, I'd just avoid Varric so annoying has this become. This is my first time as an artificer so I don't know if this bug is new with the latest patch or pre-dates it.
I saw someone said that banter was better on a new game even if the patch killed it on the old one. I've been thinking about starting a new playthrough, but have been delaying because I've grown very fond of my level 16 Dalish archer. But if all I'm going to hear are her footsteps over the next 20 hours or so that's left, I guess it would be better to start a new game. So I'll see if that fixes it for me.

it was so before the patch, and one of the patch notes said it was fixed... Might only work with new games, I don't know... I haven't played since my first run.

In my experience, SLI and Crossfire always had lots of bugs, often left unfixed by Nvidia/AMD for many, many games. Sometimes you'd even get worst performances with SLI/Crossfire than a single card.
Not that it ain't annoying, but it's not something basic, and the problems experiences are often on the driver side of things, not the game developpers.

Well it is pretty much the fault of the developers. When the only way how to play the game with stable FPS on max settings (full AA, max possible res, etc.) is to have 2 graphic cards... They should either better optimize their game so a single top GPU can run without the need of SLI or fix the bugs with SLI or cooperate more with AMD/Nvidia.

I ask that people try to not make this a general discussion thread. Reading past discussions over things like Duke Nukem Forever and game development time and whatnot makes the thread unnecessarily larger and slows down my ability to read and collate the actual issues.
Thank you.
Actual issues can be seen here: http://answers.ea.co...ce/td-p/4126271
EDIT: Don't bother reading all of it; the summary in the first post covers most of it.
For some, the issues became worse after patch 2. I cannot speak to how the game played prior to patch 2, as I did not have it then.
PC issues being: DirectX crashes (suggested fix of windowed-fullscreen sometimes helps), random crashes with no errors, high CPU usage causing stuttering gameplay and/or game shutdowns. I have experienced the DirectX crash; random crashes with no errors, and high CPU usage with usage spikes to 100 percent on a system that exceeds minimum requirements for this game. Playing fullscreen-windowed does help with some of it; at least, it cuts down on the DirectX crash and random crashes with no errors. It DOES NOT fix CPU usage, leading to choppy gameplay.
For reference, my system is an AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition @3.2 GHz; Nvidia GeForce 460 - 1 GB RAM, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive.
For some, party banter has not yet been fixed. I cannot speak to this, as it seems I do not have (nor have I ever had) this issue.
For some, pc controls/tactical camera controls are a bear. I cannot speak to this, as I have never had an issue with the controls specifically. However, I will speak to the inability of the AI to do what I tell it to do when I try getting party members to hold position and then interact with something. Even if I order them all to do the same thing (think of the room at the Emerald Graves with four interactable light fixtures that I attempt to have each party member click at the same time). This does not work for me. Also the Well of Sorrows mission floor puzzles misfiring because a party member stepped on them DESPITE telling them to hold position away from the tiles.
Are any of these issues going to be addressed?

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but a quick search didn't reveal anything. Does anyone know of a way I can check which patch version for DA:I I currently have installed on XBox One? I can find nothing that indicates this, and so far I've not seen any difference in game play since before the patch came out. Party banter seems about the same (infrequent) and I'm still having issues with Revive in combat. It's frustrating that there isn't an obvious "Version 1.04" or something emblazoned on the startup screen, or *something*, unless I'm missing it?? Thanks for the help... (BTW, I'm assuming the XBox is trying to patch my games automatically -- I never received a message about patch 4.)

What platform are you playing on?
If you are on PC check out Cheat Engine.
They have already fixed several of the problems that EAware seem to be incapable of.

This is getting ridiculous. My party would banter occasionally but now, it's gone entirely, I'm very disappointed. I was just listening to some banter on Youtube and I can't believe how much content I'm missing out. ![]()
I'm on PS4, BTW.

I think I'm a little fizzled out with DA right now though I'm sure that'll pass once I'm less bummed about the item duping being gone but the banter bug and the loading screen freezing bugs still being in the game. Maybe an Origin's run will do me some good though, playing an exiled dwarf princess usually cheers me up.
