While I don't see anything broken in this patch for a change it sure has mullered my loading times.

In order to keep the patch notes thread a bit easier to find information and be overall less intimidating for people just hoping to find the notes, we're going to separate the two. Please use this thread to discuss the patch for new issues, feedback, and so forth.
Patch 4 was just posted here and is currently available for the PC. We are working to have it available on the consoles next week.
Has anyone mentioned at what point the devs will fix the hair situation? Like pretty much 90% of the users have complained about the lack of "hair" choices.
Like bald choices, you guys rock out. I mean, if there was a game that focuses on skinheads battling in a race war scenario you guys would be the tops in dev'ing that game because you have multiple skinhead choices, like 11 bald/skinhead options amirite?
So props to you for like doubling down and working out that whole bald option thing. I never realized how many variations of bald there could be until I played Inquisition.
So back to actual hair--when will we get that? Patch 10000?

I played the dragon age series and purchased all of uts content on multiple accounts etc. Bought ps4 just to play the inquisition on it for what i assumed was gonna be an amazing experience. Yes, i was awwed, amazed, and loving it. Then, ... I realize the length of time it takes to make such little amounts of money. Finally, i learn of some glitches. But, that excitement rapidly diminished as i learn that the harmless glitches were patched lime 2days after i purchased the game. I am very disappointed with this recent patch. I usually love to farm for stuff. Howevet, this is over farming boring as heck. Now i have stopped playing the game. I do not want to spend another 120 hours on a new character. I mean to delete and reinstall game and take it offline for a while. I feel that u developets TRULY ARE NOT LISTENING to ur fans. Well, by doing this to ur fans, ... U will lose ALOT of future money from us. Not that u guys care anyways. So, i just wanted to share my overall frustration regarding ur patch.

You kidding? You can easily farm 5,000 to 10,000 gold at Suledin Keep, and it only takes about 5 minutes per rotation.

And uh how about more equipment designs for the qunari They seem to be neglected
Not to mention in warrior class Cassandra and blackwall get better armor designs then the inquisitor

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but it seems that all Amulet of Powers that dropped along other items have been removed in patch 5. More info in this thread. Seems like an odd change or fix, so perhaps it's unintentional. I hope the latter and that there will be a fix as it has removed "side questing" that has been important for my chars.

As of today, I am done with this DAI, unless they fix this atrocity they call a Patch. They "fixed" all the good exploits and have now made the game worthless in my eyes. The 'duplication item' exploit made it possible to gear up all your characters with badass armor and weapons; now it takes forever to get one character suited up properly. It also takes too damn long to farm crafting material or save enough gold to buy anything worth having.There aren't enough dragons to kill to get everyone the proper armor and weapons. By the time you are able to get the best of the best in the game, you've practically done everything there is to do, so whats the F'ing point. I work 30 hours a week, volunteer, and I'm a student; I don't have time to farm the necessary crafting material, and saving enough gold is now just impossible. F@!% You Playstation and F@!% You harder EA games and Bioware. Im done with both of you. I should have just gotten an XBOX One; at least they have better game releases. I am selling DAI and returning my PS4, because there aren't any good RPGs or Action Adventure games available. I believe my gaming life has come to an end and it's all your fault. Thanks A Lot! Frustrated and Thoroughly Disappointed! You took one of the best releases/distractions from my hectic life and RUINED IT! I sincerely hope you are proud of yourselves!!!

Hm...my scars are missing again...and they only reappear if I play the game on high or ultra settings...
But it slows my game down quite a bit

I wonder if the direct x crash will ever get fixed, it real soured my experience of this game and rendered it unplayable to others. Honestly surprised its been in the game so long and not been addressed. I get the impression the fix just isn't gunna happen

I think someone mentioned earlier that Battlefield 4 still had directx crash errors and that's been out since when? I suppose once they figure out what's crashing it, they can isolate it enough to fix the problem on DAI since they are both based on the same frostbite 3 engine.

Unfortunately, their "fix" seems to have broken a lot of them (they're not spawning at all anymore).

Good news for me with SLI: performance increase allowed me to up MSAA to 4x and still run max settings on everything but post process AA (disabled) and post process effects (set to minimum since I still can't disable DoF).
Release Bug: when running Benchmark, all sound still plays after the benchmark video finishes, rather than during the benchmark. (However, as fast as the benchmark runs for me now, I'm not sure the sound would play back properly anyway lol)

That's how I use to have it. I use to play on low settings with only the Mesh quality up on high or ultra.
But now, it isn't doing that ![]()

Now the options are separate; you should only need shader quality (a new setting) to be high or ultra to see scars (shader quality is at the bottom of the list in the settings screen).

Patch 5 made the game run much, much faster for me. That alone is awesome.
Also, being able to set mesh to medium and shaders to high.

Have you tried playing the game in "Full Screen Window"? That fixed all DX-related crashes for me.

Has the missing piece from The Fall mosaic been patched in yet? I skimmed through the patch notes and didn't see it, but I certainly could've just missed it. I'm on a PS4, so please don't recommend the PC mod. Arrgh! The missing piece is driving this poor, sad, 100%er crazy! Must... finish... mosaic. Must... have... every... codex... entry!

The tactical camera has still issues for me Bioware, even after the patch 5. ( xbox one ) An issue brought by the patch 4. I didn't have any bug before that... Please bioware, fix the tactical camera, so I can play correctly with the nightmare mod.

*Amulet of Power. Completely wiped out of the loot. Only available with War table missions now.
*Tac cam. New bugs, like the closing of rift no possible anymore.
*Lips closed. On PS360, the main character get his/her lips closed during cutscenes.
List not finished. Work in progress... sadly...

Tac cam is still near useless indoors. Sure it's nice we can zoom out more outside but its still like an over the shoulder cam while in a hissing wastes tomb. If they can't have the camera not be affected by collision and make the walls/ceiling transparent when the cam is above the ceiling, they should use another engine for the next game or get help from the guys that made it to do so.

The Amulet of Power in Crestwood is no longer exploitable. And the Storage Chest can't store valuables only Weapons, Armor, and upgrades. ![]()

Well the patch did some fixes and at last it added a storage chest, but not 100% helpful, we can only store Weapons/Armors/Updates but we can't store Valuables which are using the very most capacity of the inventory, please update the chest or create second chest just for the Valuables.
An other idea is to make a connection between the storage box(es) with the Crafting and Edit tables, just like the inventory are with the tables,
so we can see the stored items in the Crafting and Edit tables too! ![]()
As for the tinting table, it could have tinting option for weapons too.
I repeat that the game need those following things too, to be more realistic:
