Yea it has outright shut down my pc a few times recently... The fps tops out at 200 during load screens.. Dips to single digits for cutscenes.. And is everywhere in between while playing..

Nope, it is Inquisitor's lvl 20. And not just those 2 achievements are bugged, but these 2 are bugged often. Also a sidenote, I didn't get the one for killing 2500 demons. I closed all the rifts, cleared out every zone, so I guess that one is supposed to be completed on second playthrough (for all I know it can be bugged as well, I really don't know why Origin can't show the exact achievement progress).
Without you having save files prior to lvl 20 I unfortunately can't help you
Well, there is a possibility I could help you Rizilliant by sending you my save files (one before a dragon you can kill repeatedly and one just before lvl 20). But I don't know if it wouldn't mess up some of your other achievements or if you would be able to load those files at all (since I could have different DLCs and I am not sure about compatibility).
Thank you but i forgot to mention I'm on the Xbox One and not the PC version. And about the inquisition achievement i think Rizilliant was suggesting that maybe the Veteran achievement pops when you reach rank 20 inquisition rank which is why i said what i did.

Its nice being an unpayed QA tester isnt it?
Because i have done QA, and that is precisely what we would say to each other every day. "Cant wait to see what the next fix breaks."

Please remove Giants and Mabari from Multiplayer they still bug the keys and have insanely annoying behaviors.
Nobody will miss them if they were to be removed entirely from MP.

also recently noticed that, upon leaving skyhold and traveling to camps (most noticeably the dalish camp in the plains), one or more of my party members arrives with half-health. this is a new phenomena, since the patch.
most annoying.
This happens a lot to me, too. I have noticed it is probably caused by fall damage which occurs just as the screen loads--because the characters spawn up in the air. It only happens going from Skyhold --> a camp. I haven't installed Patch "four" yet, and it's been happening since Patch two, here.
I have some screenshots of this occurring, somewhere, if the devs need to see them.
It happens most commonly in the Riverwatch Camp at the Exalted Plains (always to the party member that is directly to the left front of the Inquisitor, because you kind of "land" up in the air above the potions table), frequently at the Sahrnia Camo at Emprise du Lion and occasionally at the Redcliffe Farms camp in the Hinterlands. There was another at the Hinterlands, once, but I neglected to write it down. Iirc, it was the one near the Lake you get Blackwall at. It has also happened twice at the first camp you land in at Crestwood, (near Old Crestwood, whatever it's called).
If they could spawn on the ground rather than attempting to fly in, the problem would be solved. ![]()

Game was totally stable on my computer before latest "patch".
Now regular CTD on entering war room.
GTX 980 SLI
RVE
5960X
DDR4 3200 RAM
Each "patch" is one step forward and one backwards...and the step forward isn't even in the right direction.
Laughable...if it wasn't so sad ![]()

I waited too long for patch 3 on consoles and now I played so much that patch 3 is not on my hype list. Now I need the patch AND another DLC (but significant, this time) to get back to play the co-op mode.

Anyone having weirdness if they skip non-cutscene dialogue with the esc key? I do this if I've heard a convo like 15 times already and don't want to go through it again. I'm not sure it's the patch since I played around with the graphics and maaaaaybe that has something to do with something so I switched them back and repaired the game. If it doesn't go away it's something added by the latest patch and I will be peeved. So very, very peeved. And by weirdness I mean the screen goes black, the loading icon shows up in the bottom right corner and when the screen comes back the dialogue has cut out. Like the lines show up as subtitles and their mouths move but there's just silence.

Kay, it went away. This is good because I would've thrown such a hissy fit like you don't even know.

Actually wait no. Stuff's weird. I'm in Haven and I want to meet everyone. I walk into the bar and want to speak to Flissa. I can't speak to Flissa because some ****** is standing in the way and not TALKING and then LEAVING like he's suppose to. I go out to go talk to Varric instead. Varric is not at his fire. I walk into some house to pick up a codex entry. I walk back out and Varric is at his fire. I figure this means the game has sorted its ****. I go back to the bar. The ****** is still there but Flissa AND the bard are missing. What is this? Hide-and-seek? Ugh. I don't think I'm a particularly high maintenance customer, I don't ask for improvements to cut scenes or to body models or even new/any armors for my qunquisitor, I don't care about optimization and I don't mind petty visual bugs, I am unbothered by both the tac cam's inadequacies and the widely bemoaned UI. All I ask is for my gameplay experience not to be actively impeded as it is now.

Kidding aside, quick save and load often help or traveling to another location and back. This nonetheless should not happen. In my game Solas went missing every time I walked into one of those houses he was standing at.
No but I'm gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling it and starting a new game... again. I've never been plagued with this particular problem and would greatly like it if it went away.

I had this happen to me very badly for one day and then it went away. Can't remember if it was before or after Patch 4. Basically the game window would just close without any warning or error messages. In the end I think it was an app like Afterburner which I usually had on to monitor my temps and FPS, i turned all of those off and haven't experienced a CTD over the weekend.

Yeah, I think there's just something about needing to completely increment the number from a data stand point, so it's easiest to simply say "it's patch 4" rather than communicating that it's "Patch 3 hotfix" while the patch data actually says "Patch 4." It'd end up confusing because visible "Patch 4" would be tracked internally as "Patch 5" and guaranteed someone will make a mistake and get confused!
I don't have any news on patch 5 at this time unfortunately. I'll touch base to see if we can at least get a timeline on when we're able to get more information for that.
Thanks for the explanation and update! It sounds like you're going to get an ETA on more info about the patch, so even if there is no releasable info about Patch 5 we'll still hopefully find a guesstimate on when info can be released? Thank you if so, apologies if I didn't read that right.
Allan, what would you think about prefacing the locked master patch thread with a header line that explains: lack of hard patch info is usually because the patch content is not locked yet? I'm sure many folks without software or IT experience may not realize how that works, and would find knowing that reassuring. Any communication and insight into the process will help folks see that work is continuing. It's the growing fear that nothing more may be forthcoming that I see in most of the alarmed posts.

Wheres the patch to 360? are you just bypassing the 360 because its not the one? Well in that case bypass all old pc's on your patches. Kind of one sided.

I really don't understand how the banter problem isn't more of a priority...really you say patch 4 is focused on MP key drop issue and not ****** banter which is essential to why 95% of people bought your game? No one gives a **** about multiplayer...fix the singleplayer jesus christ.
I just truly at this point don't understand how it's humanly possible to be this unresponsive to a problem with an essential aspect of your game...the new patch didn't fix anything for most people and i guess that's just fine....let's talk about key drop issues.
It's like after telling us they fixed the banter issues in the new patch they decided to forget they even said that so they don't have to talk about it still not functioning at all. Don't say you solved something and then just throw your hands in the air like "who gives a ****" when your fix doesn't actually do anything and move on to the next problem.

Maybe the banter isn't a priority because there are people that have much larger problems, like white fog they can't see through and texture flickering all over the place in SLI.
