I suck at making females in video games. (I always want them to be perfect lol , oh no this make-up looks better , mmm these lip stick looks cuter) secretly I think I think I'm a girl if I pick a female character cause...I pay waaaay to much attention on my appearance. XP

Does Default Femshep look good throughout the series? ME, ME2 , ME3? also might not matter but which class really suits her? (I'm more of a paragon then a renegade lol)

I generally go with a custom Shepard. I usually work off one of the pre-sets, though, and make some minor changes here and there. I found if you don't stick too close to the pre-sets you might find yourself ending up with a character who never closes her mouth, her teeth are always showing. Or her eyes might not actually close when she blinks (that's really disconcerting!). I don't know just how picky you are, but I have generally been happy with my femsheps. It is custom male shep that I have had problems getting right.

I don't think any particular class matters as far as paragon or renegade. It may possibly relate to the psyche of the character you are trying to build. My current Shepard is an Engineer because that is part of his psychological profile.

If you're on PC, there is a femshep default mod which totally changes how default femshep look but then you will have to be dependent on that mod. Personally, I don't like having a femshep who is made up of a bunch of mods. I do sometimes implement face mods that enhances my femshep's face, but if you like your femshep with and without mods, she'll be your best creation. I would suggest you mess around with the face creator for a bit and see if you can come up with a face you like, but if you just want to get started then, yeah, go with default femshep. Default femshep isn't bad, I I think BW just made her cheeks too bloated. I have done a playthrough with the default face before I didn't mind it, and under certain lighting she looks even better.

Default femshep looks ok in ME1 and ME2. In ME 3 I use a custom femshep

It's subjective. Personally I felt she looked awful in the first two games but looks good in ME3. You could use a site like http://www.facesofgaming.com/to find a suitable Femshep that fits your preferences. The pickings for ME1 is a bit slim but ME2 has a ton of great Femshep codes to chose from.

Personally I've always felt Femshep suited a biotic more than anything. So... adept.

I found myself only obsessed with silent protagonists' appearance since that's the only thing that makes them stand out. With Shepard who talks and has a personality, her/his look is not nearly as important and you get used to whichever face you made soon enough.

It's got a lot to do with personal taste - I think the ME1/ME2 femShep has a good design, but the femShep of ME3 dips deep into the uncanny valley for me. I find her face looks very plastic and just looks off-kilter compared to other faces. That's my take on her design. Personally, I like messing around with building a custom no matter what.

Here's a good fem Shep:

If the skin looks a little light adjust the slider on it to darken.

I think Mass Effect 2 female Shepard looks the best. Mass Effect 3 female Shepard is runner up. But the only reason I would play a girl is for the romance. Otherwise, I am a guy, and my Shepard -- who is based off of me -- is a guy.

Why don`t you just google some pics or youtube vids and see for yourself. It's subjective as someone said. Personally I love her ME3 design. She looks like the fierce soldier she supposed to be, not a supermodel. Meanwhile default Broshep looks like a model for Calvin Klein. So I always used default female Shepard in ME3 but made my own male Shepard. (The only thing I don't like about default femshep is that she seems to wear lipstick, and too much of it).

Default is ok, but mine generally tend to be modded up to the eyeballs! Just too damned picky! :D

Personally I thought default FS in 1 and 2 was kind of lacking. She looked like a custom character any random person could've done slightly better, as opposed to MeerShep's more polished look. If you ask me it's worth doing a custom one, and even if you don't think you can there are a set of ready made faces. Can't remember what any of them look like, but default FS doesn't stand out at all imo.

How can you look at this face and think she's anything but awesome?

In ME1 and ME2 you can start with the default face and work from there. That is how I usually do it. For instance, I may pick a different hair style or color. Perhaps a different color for the eyes. Not much chance of mucking that up. Just pick "Enter New ID" then "Custom Female" and the first face you are presented with is the default. You can then begin changing things from there depending on your preferences. Or you could decide to change nothing at all and just end up with what the default would look like.

Well, I know that ME2 and 3 have a code generated for each custom face, based off the slider combination you made it with. People sometimes share those, in threads here and sites elsewhere I'm sure, you might try copying one of those. The only thing is I don't remember if ME1 had the same thing, in fact I'm pretty sure it didn't.

Is that the Default Femshep? see that doesn't look so bad. I'm just wondering if ME , ME2 Femshep is just as awesome as her ME3 part?

You can explain away any differences between ME1 and ME2 default femsheps as being due to her having to be rebuilt after an orbital nosedive at the start of ME2...... :)

The only annoying thing I can see what Femshep has in the early games would be (and this might not even be a problem for most) but her puffy lips.

Well, like mentioned earlier, you can actually modify the 'default' Femshep in the first two games.

You see, unlike Maleshep, the 'default' female Shepard is actually just a preset code. The default male Shepard cannot be modified because its based off an actual model, it was tailored and designed with detail to resemble a real-world model.

As you can see the resemblance is rather striking. The default female Shepard, until ME3, was not actually a specially tailored model. Therefor you can edit and change it all you want in ME1-ME2. Don't like the lips? You can change them. Infact there are numerous 'presets' you can choose from. There isn't just one Shepard face, the game comes with several presets you can choose from if you don't want to mess with it yourself.

Of course theres, again, that website I mentioned earlier that features hundreds, thousands of custom facecodes you can just enter in and get their Shepard face.

I still state that two and three look the best. I did not state perfection, I just stated that they look the best.

There's a utility called "Sliders" for the PC. You plug in the numbers like I posted in this post and it will kick out where to set the sliders in ME1. The numbers are for ME2 or ME3.

You'll get this femShep:

I've never really had a problem creating a realistic looking femshep. Broshep is another matter.

That's because most M!Sheps come from the Pleistocene. Just name him Cro and roll with it.
