Random loot matters more than level and skills.

I'm getting rather p1ssed off with what would otherwise be a great, fun coop MP game.

 

At 100 I have no weapon higher than level 13. Chest after chest, bought or in-game and I get nothing. I have 1 level 8 purple.

 

 

CTD, loss of sound and other bugs frustrate me but what will cause me to quit will be the simple issue of a pathetic loot system that effectively breaks game progression.

 

Nothing has come from Bioware that I have read to suggest they are working this as a priority - yet it's ruining the game value for so many vocal players.

 

Even D3's loot system and AH at release was better than DAMP loot system. ME3 is far superior - and its the same damned company.

Well after my day grinding and earning medals and cash for more chests I opened my Reward chest and 2 large chests.

 

All items were level 2 (including duplicates in single chests) except a blue level 5 and a fire gem.

 

I'm prestige level 112 and have managed to loot at best a level 8 purple staff and level 5 or 8 shield (cant recall). Not even a white item over 15.

 

Seeing level 1 characters with weapons that simply dominate the game is rather disenchanting.

 

I'm keeping a list of the loot I get. From my recent chests and games following the reward it is: 1,1,6,7,4,6,6.

 

 

I would REALLY like to see an official Bioware response to the disconnect between player progression, classes and loot in this game.

 

I find it very misleading and disingenuous of them to say in the tool-tips that the game level is for certain character levels. It's total bollocks.
