Hi Guys,

I'm completely new to Dragon Age. I picked up DAI about a week ago but have only got to playing it a couple of days ago so I have a few questions that I'd like some help with.

I'm wanting a 2-H warrior build and I really want one that resembles an Arms Warrior from WoW, any ideas for that? I've heard that 'reaver' is the place to go for this but I cant find it anywhere, all I see is Sword and Shield, 2-H and Battle Master (Vanguard might be there but can't remember) yet in videos I see people easily accessing the Reaver bit? Is this something that's unlocked at a later stage? I'm only level 4.

Also I seem to die quite easily when doing quests in the Hinterlands, particularly against the fade rift demons.

What's the best way to obtain gear? Buying it from vendors? I don't know if it's just me but I'm finding it really hard to obtain any money.

Thanks all!

Reaver does have life-steal, but it's primary attack is fueled by your health. If played right, it has amazing sustained dps and good survivability.

It can be unlocked after you reach a certain point in the story, along with the other sub-class options for warriors.(don't want to give spoilers.)

The best gear is going to be crafted from schems, so you want to buy those, not actual crafted weapons from vendors (because they suck.)

Reaver builds can really vary, but the most beneficial trees will be 2H, battlemaster, and the SnS tree(for passives.) The SnS tree passives really help because

reaver is all about damage control and being able to control what you output as well as what is put on you.

Craft better gear with better mats ( Val Royeaux should have some good T1-2 schem vendors.) and set your Party A.I. for full ability output ( use stamina/mana until

it hits 0% setting. Also go over the preferred abilities for party A.I.'s and set the healing potion threshold.)

I could give you some reaver tips, if you're still interested.
