I seem to recall reading somewhere that the quest with the archer's firing at targets is bugged but wondered if anyone could confirm this. The problem seems to be that even though you light the beacon to make one of the pillar's drop down, it doesn't drop far enough so the arrow still hits it rather than the target. Is there a knack to this? Have I done it in the wrong order? I did the one for the first beacon and then did the one with standing on the lit square, where the target is opposite the first one. You can't seem to reset this so I hope it isn't an issue. Please can anyone enlighten me on how to solve this one? Thank you.

There's more than one torch to light, there are three, in fact. Together they'll lower the pillar enough, but they only stay lit for a short time so you'll have to time it right.
