I feel like this is as good an oportunity as any to point out that I think Aveline's introduction is the reason why Cass can never be as bad ass as her IMO, dragons slain in semi-off-brand anime movie or no.

 

Drenched in enemy guts, tackle a big scary monster unarmed & with sheer rage, punch it in the teeth with your bare hands and guillotine off its head with its own sword; all the while pinning it like a pro wrestler.

Well, what I admire is how rationally confident she is. Same thing with Viv, actually. Aveline wins over Viv, too though, because she also happens to be an immensely kind-hearted person. Whose altruism isn't naive because she repeatedly proves she has twice the balls necessary to show it's actually not very naive when it's coming from her.

 

Speaking of women having balls to do something bold, I couldn't help but applaud that mega-burn when I first read it:

I just had a party with some Revenants that loved me. :S They kept grabbing me. BAD TOUCH! Thought Solas was going to get jealous after a while. I had to duo the whole thing with him; Cass and Blackwall took a nap.
