I've got my own little party going. I'm getting all of my Witcher merchanidise today. Got my new shirts this morning, the artbook about an hour and a half ago and just got my prima guide delivered as well. :D

You've really gone Witcher Worshipper, haven't you?

*looks at Tomb Raider, Star Wars, Grey Warden, Doctor Who and Inquisitor T-shirts, the DAI Inquisitor Edition case, and light-up 12 inch tall Homeworld mothership* ;)

The author of the Witcher books was at my workplace last week. Funnily enough, he got kinda grumpy when asked about the games... I bet when he sold the copyrights he didn't realize what a success the games would be and now wishes he got more money out of it.

I don't think so, no.

'Tis a shame then. Out of all the recycled threads that keep appearing, you'd think one of them would be proposing something worthwhile and sensible like that. I mean, even those gimmicky Chargers have their own song.

Sorry, kinda hungover from celebrating our 1000th page. And not a single warning I'm aware of! There is hope yet.

EDIT:

I'm taking a few shots of Conscription Ale now, in honor of this thread.

There is a magical ward surrounding this thread. I cannot quite explain it.. there has been some sort of pact made, perhaps a Satanic rite? Black magic is at work?

Pfft. That's fantastic and all but really it is this simple:

Who knows? It's probably Blood Magic created by those Vints, if I dare say so myself.

Any idea who?

Normally I would be confident in saying it is Rivaini -- she gets around, after all.

But it cannot be, she has been absent lately, unless she hired somebody to BLOW in her stead.

Hmm... maybe Roy? Perhaps one of the mods share their Dr. Pepper with her..

I must do some poking around... when I've done that, I will start my investigation. ;)

Not all Vints are bad. Besides, I'm sure that protection we have benefits them in some way.

Nice avatar, Foley.

'poking around' ....the places I went...

Thank you sir. :D

Not her current armor mind you which is pretty kick butt, nor is it her current bow, but I think its one of my best pics of her.

And I realized I was an idiot earlier too.  :(  I have been wondering how I was goint to play the same Inquisitor again in the future, after all no NG + and no face codes...then it hit me...save at the beginning of the game.  Except I didn't.  *drinks*

And in other idiot news alerts I crafted myself a Red version of the Dragon Bow.  Well, the comparisons to the Targaryans were obvious;...and I forgot to name it.  *drinks* :(

Also I am a bit tickled that Kara is running around in black leather armor...in the Western Approach..,with full sleeves.

Thank you Ma'am. :D

-snip-

Fixed. Don't be fooled by the stache.

Ha ha I always forget to name my crafted items so i never even bother to be creative about it.

Full armor in the Western Approach amuses me. Some people are just cold blooded. I'd die wearing that gear.

Oops crap forgot.

Yeah Kara is probably relaxing now at a camp in her small clothes to cool down. :P

I'd leave skyhold walls and enjoy the brisk mountain air. I'm sure everyone enjoyed it when they returned.

That makes them predictable, though. They say people always find a way to surprise you, but I found that this is hardly ever the case after a few laps around the block. If anything, the primary upside to Routine is sometimes found within itself.

It helps to remind yourself, absolutely unrelated to any possible event, every single day in your life, there is:

  • 1 person who is not throwing back humanity by 100 years
  • 1 person who's your friend or has a friendly disposition towards you

and lastly

  • 1 person who briefly fantasizes about f*cking your brains out.

They do call me glass-half-full, I don't even deny it. I would use a smiley now, provided I ever did that.

Your posts never cease to amaze me, how elegant, deep and yet simple (in a best possible way, of course) they are.

I would also dare to add a little: do what you must and let it be.

How often we meet with things we can't change? It's not a matter of efforts, or luck, or chance. They just happen.
So, for myself, when I face such situation or person, I do everything from my side and let it be as it will be.
Yes, sometimes it hurts, but then we return to yours, Mr. Dieb, 1, 2 & 3  and it calms me.

Thank you and I'll show myself out. ^_^

Makes me wonder what the gang will do it this thread ever came to shut down.

** shyly raises his had trying to get the attention of the rowdy crowd **

I have been considering the possibility of that scenario for a while, even when honestly considering the randomness of this thread, discussions are way more mature and well supported than the ones we use as justification to drink merrily, so it being locked doesn't seem likely.

Now, in my (failed) attempt to create a WoW Guild some months ago I got a TeamSpeak server (50 slots) and an Enjin website that, at the moment, are deactivated, but could be restored with a single click, so I had been thinking...

What would you think, the people who like hovering this thread, if I offer this server for us to have some fun with (drinking games...for real... ;) ). I would set apart 12 slots for people interested in DAIMP (3 groups) and the other 38 would be simply for people to hop in and "socialize"

There would be some issues that would need to be addressed though, particularly in terms of how to keep things under some "degree" of control and moderation without getting entangled with so many rules that would take out all the fun.

My idea would be simply to keep it self regulated. If I receive a detailed complaint about an user supported for at least 10 other people this person would be banned. Also, people would need to register to use it with his/her exact BSN name, so I know that is not a "spy" trying to troll.

Nothing is writing in stone yet, no decisions have been made, but I would like the feedback (positive or negative) about this idea, please let me know!

Another fic fix.  Two in one week!  I had to do this one before playing the end game, though, for reasons that will become obvious.  Drama, apparently, being one of them.

Hence, The Cook.  It works for me, can't say if it will work for everyone.
