I found I enjoy more of the game, and more playthroughs, when sticking to a look of an Inquisitor I like, even if I change up her choices.

Yeah, and it got so paranoid because ME 1 was on the PS3 *late* so in ME 3...I think it was ME 3 anyways. I went and counted out the sliders position relative from left to right so I could recreate her for ME 1. Not that I would not have probably done a different Shpeard if I had to but if it wa going to be Abigail it was going to be her.

Kyrrah is not perfect, not by a long shot. but I adore her! haha, that's all that matters:

Edit: and the original character Kirrah:
my third will be dark-haired.

The Wardens in the tail end of my ~20 DAO playthroughs started to look alike, and I think I experienced the same thing you're talking about. However, my four Inquisitors look distinct from each other. One allied with mages. One conscripted mages. One allied with templars. One conscripted templars.

My first Inquisitors were very different, though 2 of them are due to race (a dwarf and a qunari). All mine are female except one lonely guy-Quizzie.. I have 2 elves, they look very different, and 4 very different female Inquisitors all with different game choices. But now, I'm at the point of, other then my sole guy Inky, having Inquistor mages (2 currently Kirrah/Kyrrah) who look the same just experiencing some different story choices and unlocking keep tiles (I play them as achievements) solely because I love playing them.

No worries, I understood. You made a guy Quizzie? What was that like? My Inquisitors are all female DW Trevelyans, and I... give up on trying to figure out why I can't change race or class.

Glad to see that I am not the only one who plays through a game I love dozens of times. I have tried all races in Inquisition but I prefer elves. I also like humans, to a lesser extent. I tend to find a look I like, then change small details to make my character different. And I like to change up my decisions too. I never have been able to resist romancing Sera though. She is just too awesome and adorable.
I feel the same way about Cullen. ![]()
But I have uh, had er, have plans to romance Sera and Solas. I haven't played my fourth Inquisitor in a while, and if it's early in the game that might be a Sera romance. At this point, my DAI decisions result from crazy random happenstance.

haha I know what you mean by race and class. I only play female Trevelyan lightning/storm mages now. Last 5 Inquisitor's have been anyway lol plus my first 2 Inquisitors *sighs at self* apart from mr Quizzy of course, he's a DW Trevelyan. I have the 2 lady elves and the dwarf / qunari just to expeirence them but only 1 elf and the qunari made it to final quest in the story lol.
I needed a guy to unlock the romance tiles that only guy inquisitors can, this is the only reason I made one *hugs Dante*. It's not going too badly, it helps that I am in love with his eyes, a bit like me finding Kyrrah's eyes gorgeous, divine, godlike.. *blushes* ah where was I.... ...
stuff.
I also only ever romance Cullen
ok not strictly true my Qunari is with The Iron bull because.. Qunari.. and my highest level elf went with blackwall but she was a casual - very much speed run playthrough. So only 2 of my active 10 Inquisitors didn't start a Cullen romance.. crap, lol, I swear I'm not obsessed..

I absolutely love The Sera romance, it is just too cute. And a lot of my decisions lately have been like: 'I haven't done that choice yet, I wonder what happens if I do that.' Then if something bad happens because of my stupid choice, I reload.I feel the same way about Cullen.

I think it's easy to approach a lot of different decisions in this game from several different perspective, and that makes it easy to play characters that are wildly different from each other. Changing classes isn't an issue for me, though I do lean toward rogues.
The dialogue often works in such a way that I can sympathize with a protagonist without needing to agree with them on very much. My pro circle necromancer, Agravain, is excessively pragmatic. He enjoys playing politics, and he absolutely delights in being called the Herald of Andraste.
If I were to meet someone like him in real like I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, but I can really enjoy exploring his character in the game.

I just finished a Solasmance play through, and to my staggering surprise, I'm already planning another one.
It's a surprise because I thought Cullen was my favorite romance, too. I also prefer to play humans more than anything else. Now I'm aboard the Solasmance hype train, and probably not going back. ![]()
Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not running through every single one. ![]()

Romancing Cullen spoiled me because I never had to worry about approval. I sense reloading in my future. Character exploration is just as fun for me, maybe even more fun than exploring places in the game.

This is why I only really romance him. No approval problems, I dislike Iron bulls because I had difficulty with approval at first lol. I messed up a Josephine attempt (didn't start the romance as early as I wanted) due to forgetting a Haven flirt option haha.

I was about to say weekends aren't quite as bad, but it is saturday for me so I no longer know. It's been quieting down over the past week though.
