I like Carver. He's a rivalry sibling who can't stand being stuck in Hawke's shadow but gets oh so mad if anyone tries anything against, or insults, hawke. lol. A lot of eprsonality right there.

He is a jerk..and take his anger on the wrong person (and insult your Mother)..wanted to slap him for that . Cose she was grieving for Bethany wich is normal . 

 

Can't stand him , sure he is loyal...but he is a pain....ugh....and he has the hot for Merril!!

oh yes he is a bit of an a-hole , and takes most frustration out on Hawke but he does apologise for it in act 1, he knows what he did. Not to mention the mother takes her grief out on Hawke too so there is that. I think it's funny how he's interested in Merril haha

Is it possible to side with mages without killing Fenris in the end? I ended up enjoying the friendmance a lot more than I anticipated.

 

And I suppose I'm missing out on a whole character (Carver) because I've never played a mage Hawke. Hmm.

 

Yes, it is possible. My Hawke (DW Rogue male, romanced Isabela) indeed sided with the Mages (mostly trying to protect Bethany that was a Circle Mage in my playthrough) and didn't confront any of my companions (other than killing Anders). Anders was my Healer and had him in my team for pretty much the whole game. For the final encounter I replaced him with Bethany. The rest of my team was Varric and Aveline. The counter-team was Isabela, Fenris, Merrill (yes, she didn't leave even with 100% Rivalry) and Sebastian. Had Fenris with 100% friendship, not romanced. Killing Anders I think that helped though, possibly wouldn't have been possible allowing Anders to walk away.

You can keep your companions (All of them) no matter you are friend with them or Rival . What can make them leave is if you don't do their personal Quest .

And if you don't kill Anders. Sebastian really doesn't like that, unless I completely missed how to keep him around in the end with Anders alive. lol

I forgot how much I dislike the right click to attack specific target + right click to move controls issue on pc for DA2.

I miss those controls. Easier to direct Hawke and friends to kill specific targets.

The right click thing is the only one I don't like, solely because as a mage I end up running to the enemy rather then attacking it if I'm slightly off when clicking mid-fight haha. Other then that, the pc controls work well. But then i was never a fan of click-to-move in games, doesn't make it so I don't enjoy them however.

Nope. Seb leaves if Anders lives no matter what.

Since I can't stand either of them, Anders lives only because while he's a dick (they both are really), he's a useful dick unlike Sebastian.

I only used the click to move in small spaces or when my mouse would refuse to change angles or to correct loot with only a few clicks. *drink*

I'm a little disappointed that the epilogue for DAI didn't mention what the companions do afterwards other then the ones at the party stick around at Skyhold for "just a bit longer". (epilogue! not via dialogue. I know what they say via dialogue)

 

Before someone gets nancy about that I know why lol. Doesn't mean I have to like it! I do get that you can finish up most of the game after Cory-fight but that shouldn't matter for the epilogue as it's meant to be after everything's done however they likely chose to just keep all companions in the Inquisition since we don't know what happens to the organisation afterwards either. Way to go keeping your options open there Bioware!

Yup..the mod I use , make the sibling look like that *in your pic*  all the time  

 

The only one who change from 2 faces , is Gamlen lol but he is fugly personality wise..so doesnt matter .

I play only on pc..so all my games are modded , even origin  cant live without those...

 

Like for exemple in origin I have a Mod that make the mabari quiet and a permanent companion as well as make him more useful in combat . As well as I have a Mod that make the Loot system random , so it isnt boring . 

 

In DA2 , the best most useful mod is Lock Bash . Since ya get bela later....I can open locks without her or Varric since I play mostly Mage . And carver head isnt that useful for those locks

I personally prefer my family looking alike if I've changed Hawke's skin tone, but majority of mine are pale skinned so siblings always look the same in that case so it really doesn't matter haha. I like the randomness too , that Carver

I never mod DA games. And I actually like this version of the Hawke family haha. Bit different then my usual.

I modded DAO, the nude mod (burn me at a stake if you wish). But I had my reasons really, for me it didn't make sense in the romance cinematics in the camp to see Morrigan more covered in her "underwear",

 

 

than her usual garments

 

 

In ME, BW choose a "camera" approach in the love scene with Ashley that indeed didn't need any mod to look natural and the scene shows the right amount of skin that I would have expected without forcing a "nipple" to show up.
