Make it interesting though. Don't just say, "Needs one elfroot and one something else." Mention the parts of the plant, such as the leaves, the stem... "plant needs to be ground up and added to water" etcetera.

I cook a lot, when i say recipe I mean the entire thing. Ingredients (and amounts) list, plus the method of putting it all together step by step. Potion recipes will be.. entirely fan-fiction but so much fun to write.

Yes! You could also make it look like your Inquisitor has scribbled out mistakes, or drawn a line through an amount and written the correct amount next to it.

yes! It's going to be like that throughout the book, writing won't always be completely straight across the page either. Some scribbles will be rushed, done on the run. Different kinds of pens to attempt a look of using different inks. Ink blots now and then.

Depends on if I can get it looking the way I want it to. All in all, it's still a book so long as I focus on that I'll get it done fine. I can probably manage to handmake the pages and covers well enough but binding will be the problem. I think I have enough ideas to cover roughly 50 pages. will need to be thicker but I'll get my current ideas done first
