It's like when I used to write.. I would think, this is ****. Then once I show somebody, I actually get some good feedback.

I know how that goes. Writing is something I've not done since I left school and I never thought I was good at it. Small bit about Alistair and cheese is the first writing I've done like that since English class so many years ago.

Yeah, I figured, so... it's kinda spoiled for me a little from the game but no matter. I'm enjoying the book so far, and I've only just finished reading the first part, which is where Geralt deals with the Striga, who is King Foltest's daughter.

That is awesome! You have some talent.. you know, I'll just parrot what people tell me. It doesn't have to be perfect, it doesn't have to be 'the best', just put some love into it, and if you have the skill, it will be appreciated.

You do have it thought. Skill comes in many forms. Look at what artists do for childrens books. Most of those artists can only do drawings like that. It doesn't mean they don't have skill. It's just a different form of art compared to Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
