I never even look at the Inquisition tiles. I figure they're irrelevant for DAI and will only be used for DA4 later. I mean, they're just showing you what your DAI character did in DAI, right? As opposed to the DAO and DA2 ones where you actually have to set what happened because Bioware couldn't figure out how to import game files properly.
Yeah, that last sentence was a bit testy. It's because I diligently saved all my character's save files that I'd exported from DAO > DAA > Amgarrak > Witch Hunt > DA2 and planned to just import those last DA2 saves into DA3. I'd also deleted all of my characters off the BSN network because I didn't see any reason for them to be up there since I never shared them with anyone. Boy, could I have possibly done things more 180 from what was needed? Needless to say, I was incredibly shocked when I learned there would be no import to DAI and instead I would have to painstakingly recreate all of my characters in the keep instead.
Having gotten that little rant out of the way, I am glad they at least do have the keep ability to set the world state, so I do appreciate them at least making the keep since actual, real, legitimate save game importing wasn't going to be a thing. And, as her Royness pointed out, it did make things better for multi-platform players, so there's that.
*drinks to his wordy rant*
P.S. - If anyone tells me that Bioware should have done importing more like The Witcher, I'm gonna Holy Smite their butt.
