No cliques. You just take a shot every time someone does. That's how we do it DQ style. I'm allowed to diss DA2. People are allowed to diss DAI or DAO. I'll be honest, I do it more out of getting a reaction than anything. You know how your friends do something that annoys you because they know you will react?

*raises saucer*

To solving the DAO/DA2 crisis in a matter of three posts, with everyone alive, friends & having drinks together after.

Only in the DQ, people.

Now if people start dissing DA I on the otherhand...*grabs pitchfork*

*narrows eyes*  *shrugs* *drinks* It just surprises me that a thread dedicated to, at least in part (large part) mocking and 'drinking' to all the arguments that people make aagainst DA I, it does surprise me that we can attract people who dislike the game.  Granted our drinking games are to the most cliche, most oft repeated and silly arguments...but still to the outside we must look like a good ole boys club for DA.

And also granted I have a lot of criticms of the game...my current favorite trend is I wonder how much better Inquisition would have been as a book.

I just don't care. You didn't like the game. That's cool. I like it enough for the both of us. *drink* I'd say we're a fairly decent example of how those with differing opinions don't have to be at each others throats and can *gasp* get along.

Now try that with politics.  It just puzzles me with al and things that puzzle me sometimes annoy me for some reason, its an admitted character flaw.  I loved the game myself *drinks*.

I try hard not to bring up politics in here, pretty sucessfull too I feel.  But sometimes I see something on FB that just makes me run here and go *drink* so if you see me randomly drinking something you likely know its political in nature and I do not know how to express myself, so I drink.

I developed a very binary rating system for games or entertainment.

Either it's playable, or not. I'm quick to completely discard a game I bought for one detail that grates me enough -like The Witcher 2 & 3 or Destiny- as much as I can look past anything which is collectively making them "bad", if enough details respectively check off things I enjoy -like the Thief reboot, or XCOM: The Bureau.

For that reason, I only use reviews to distill whether or not enough of these things are met, without really looking at any final verdict too closely. I'm not damning people who make dissecting entertainment sort of a science, because I understand it, too, can be a form of recreation or hobby, or an important part of those for some.

It's just to me, video games aren't the bottom score of their qualities and faults. They're entertaining, or they're not.

Yeah I can see this, especially with games.  Games are expensive and most of them have so little content I actually engage with that its not worth it for me.  But I am pretty tolerable when it comes to things, games or not.

Poor Reek.  *guns entire tankard*  For the longest time you had the only bow in the game, yet you lost your **** and we gained an Ygritte.  *sung like in a tavern*

I'm so bloody sick of those humanoid chocks.

No, we in fact do not have the time for this discussion. It is not even anywhere near "equally bigotted". Do you know why that is? Because on this wonderful sunny day, it is f*cking 2015, and we would REALLY like to fly to Mars soon.

Just because you missed the memo 200 years ago doesn't mean you get to demand special services for the fact that you're being against people who rightfully deserve special services; with questions & ressentiments everyone figured out for themselves decades ago.

"I don't like this person for what they cannot help to be" automatically makes you lose the question whether your convictions are in the right. End of story.

*Takes a long f*cking breath*

Makes sense.

Though, I prefer "favorite-playable-unplayable" rating system.
