I always have my lady inquisitor's as really close friends with Dorian, which makes a Cullen romance sweeter lol. Dorian and Cullen seem to be rather close friends and Dorian adores it when a female Inquisitor who is friends with him is in a romance with Cullen. It's so heartbreakingly sweet.
I never noticed when I did my CullenWife run.
AndI just realized that Cullen's suit looks a lot like the Night's Watch uniform in GoT. lol. You know nothing *first name* Cullen...crap wait Cullen is his first name Rutherford is his last. You know nothing Cullen Rutherford.

Fun fact about that vid: I was actually listening to Suicide Mission while I was recording so I didn't speed up the tempo. I have a tendency to do that when I play.

It's really only mentioned twice. Once in main game, once in the DLC , but it is strongly implied to me while playing.

I fixed my post a bit, but no. he only says it when inquisitor is romancing Cullen, my Blackwall romanced lady got his other line "no-one wants to be the one to tell the world the Inquisitor fell off a log into an abyss". he has a line something like "If you fall I'd have to go after you" (paraphrased) if Inquisitor is romancing Dorian.

my boyfriend watches it.. with tv volume extremely loud because I swear his hearing is bad. I can hear most of the episodes, even if I don't watch it myself haha. I can get some references lol

A lot of times someone will like a particular line or think a line is funny without realizing or knowing it is a reference to some other media in pop culture. Or they don't even notice is was a reference and let it just be another line amongst that blends in with all others. It's a little extra treat for those who do.

Regarding getting references in songs, my fav Malukah song is Frozen Sleep, a tribute to Cortana. I got misty eyed listening to / watching it and I've never even really played the game. Not always necessary to get the reference to enjoy something

put simply: tv shows are more lifelike (yay for real human actors etc) , video games are animated using computer software, no matter how good they get at that it will never be as realistic as real people doing those things. that's what gets me, nothing else.
