put simply: tv shows are more lifelike (yay for real human actors etc) , video games are animated using computer software, no matter how good they get at that it will never be as realistic as real people doing those things. that's what gets me, nothing else.

Ah. For me its more along the lines of six degrees of seperation.  I am watching something, observint it pretty passively...I am playing it, it can bother me more.  Mind you the scene with Oberyn Martell was pretty over the top.  (Thrones fans know what I am talking about)

You know I love Game of Thrones, I really like the Walking Dead...but I do wish more modern tv writers and writers in general knew how to mature without sex and knocking thier characters off left and right.  Another show I loved, B5, basically did not kill any of their major characters...aside from maybe 2...throughout the whole series and yet JMS was wonderful at putting his characters through horror and change which was able to really change and grow their characters from the horror they witnessed.  Its also the '24 effect'.  jack Bauer never dies in 24 but witnessing all his friends die over the course of the series has a profound effect on him.

They probably didn't train for when someone somersaults out of the way after they've released arrows lol. Kyrrah does it again to Florianne herself, not the somersault but the arrow dodging, she just moves to the side.
