I deleted Dante (lvl 4), my Dwarf and a couple of other characters to make some space. I'm not going to last the entire ME series, but finishing up ME1 today before I get yelled at by Sparkles.

It's literally refreshing to meet a Russian who's not particularly a fan of winter!

 

I've been to Moscow once, and the cold doesn't give a funk whether it's imposing too much or not. It doesn't care if you wear your warmest coat, it'll just sneak underneath it and freeze you there. Russian cold is the ninja of climate phenomena. The cold in Russia knows no manners or subtelty whatsoever. I think I actually heard it snickering once.

 

...because of this, I actually imagined most Russians (sentence starting like that always end up not being a terrible generalization) just forced themselves to totally dig the freezing temperatures; as sort of a coping mechanism paired with Stockholm Syndrome.

 

 

Moscow? You were in Moscow? How did you find the capital?

Hope nothing weird happened.. My country is very lovable, but this love is being tested on daily basis 

 

And, hey, I love winter! Just not at the start of the summer.

Right now the warmth is too precious and long-awaited. And, truth be told, sometimes my summer reminds winter in other countries, because most of the time it kind of chilly in a morning/evening hours so I need to take a jacket with long sleeves

 

That's reminded me...

Long time ago I read a book (don't remember unfortunately the title) and protagonist in one of the scenes was waiting for someone near Eiffel Tower.

Winter time, he is stepping out of his car, slowly goes to meeting point, smoking and with unbuttoned coat, suddenly a gust of wind and he's like "Damn. Winter is too cold this year...". He's shivering buttons his coat and proceeds his walk to a venue.

I'm indoors most of the time look like this:

 

Not to mention of going outside. Yes, sometimes it's very comfy and not that cold, but still it's can be like you described, Dieb, "the ninja of climate phenomena". 

But it's alright 

And, hey, then I was a child, considering that I had poor clothes and boots and we could spend a whole day playing in snow at freezing temperature and return home with burning from frost cheeks and numb form cold hands, feets and noses, but not even once me or my friensd fallen seriously ill after. 

So, some kind of resemblance of manners it has.

 

And I don't mind eating ice cream while being outside in winter.

 

As for "Stockholm Syndrome"...

Where is a saying, that if you can't change something, then relax and enjoy. I think it can be applied to Russian winter. It never changes.

Miss Stirling is amazing!  Come next Christmas time if you're looking for good Christmas music, check out her rendition of "What Child Is This?"  I used to think Vanessa Williams had the best cover of that song ever until I heard Lindsey Stirling do it on the violin.

Ahh my dear Beren, a templar's lyrium vial would be a strong enough dilution to kill me, a mage. Your stuff is safe. You smell amazing by the way.

I love this colorful fashion of nowadays. It's so imaginative! I think people should be free to stylize their appearance not only according to established standards (like a woman dressing a sexy outfit to attract men), but to be able to experiment and feel good about themselves.

And this colorful trend is one step further into showing creativity equals beauty. A pity a large portion of society still condemns anything that's non-conventional. Well, one day, blue hair and purple lipstick might become conventional! 

 

I hope so. Dyed hair (by which I mean, dyed a colour outside the "norm" such as blue, green etcetera) is sexy as hell!

Lalaith doesn't have any, Kirrah has a few, but yeah mainly Kyrrah, poor lil bad-ass sarcastic noble lightning mage is my photoshoot lady.

 

As for new, I have a crush on the Kyrrah character i'm writing, I actually had to stop writing..

I'm playing Dis (my nightmare playthrough) at the moment but becoming a bit frustrated at Sera's pause in our budding relationship.  If she doesn't lurch forward so I can take her to Wicked Eyes, Dis may just decide that she'd rather have a Warden...

 

Oh hey, StormQueen, I forgot to post these last night.  When I was trying to get my dragon achievement *grumble grumble* and fired up my mage Asteria to have her go whack one.  She -kinda- looks like your lady a smidge.   Anyhoo, thought I'd share.

My screenshot and fanfic folder is getting pretty full too. My screenshot folder includes all my Inquisitors though. I just started taking action shots of my characters and companions and it is so much fun. I want to take a dragon fight shot so badly, but I am such a low level, I would die from one hit.

Yeah action shots, many different stuff from cutscenes / landscapes. then there's Inquisitor, companion and adviser shots. My fav are the group ones.I'm nightmare or else I'd have a dragon fight by now, going to tackle Ferelden Frostback in another 2 levels.

It was a decision Dis made for the good of the Inquisition.  No different than knowing soldiers would die attacking Adamant.  They died ensure the mission succeeded.
