That region is my least favourite.

When I play again, I'm skipping it.

Morning. I believe (I hope I'm right in this) that it is my last week at Uni before I get a 2+ month break.

I actually like Emprise Du Lion but I do really hate that annoying as sh*t desire demon, Imshael. His voice makes me want to punch him in his stupid face.

One region I could do without is the Western Approach with its millions of Hyenas and Quillbacks that attack you out of nowhere. I would skip it if it wasn't a main mission area and I wasn't an insane completionist.

Yeah.. That and the hissing wastes, and the exalted plains.. Basically all the regions that are dull and boring. :P I just like the pretty ones, the hinterlands and the Emerald graves.. Oh and the storm coast isn't bad either.

I don't dislike any of the zones, they're mostly all different. Saddest part is hissing Wastes is one of my favourites because of the open space.

Love how everyone comments on it too.

Especially Sera "Wow that's a whole lot of.. Nothing." being the smartarse she is.

The Emerald Graves has to be my favorite region to play through. It's just so pretty.

I like the Hinterlands too, but I do get kind of frustrated with the amount of bears you run into when you are a low level. There are just so many in the woods. You end up running into one, run away from it, run into a second one while you are trying to escape the first one, and before long, you are fleeing for your life from three flaming bears while your entire party takes a dirt nap. Like Wtf Bioware, are you trying to p*ss me off on purpose? Lol.

Did I ever tell you of the time I spent 10 mins running away from three bears? *drink* That was fun.

Yeah tell me about it.. In general I get irritated with being too under levelled for some enemies, especially the rifts cause I'd rather just complete everything while I'm in the region and not have to go back..

Same deal TW3.. So many quests it isn't funny, and some you're just too under levelled to do. But then there is being too over levelled to the point you don't get any xp for doing quests so it's pointless.. And there is no way you can complete everything in one hit either, you have to keep going back between regions.

But nevermind, I guess it extends your play time by having to do that. Just gets too bloody overwhelming sometimes :P

Yeah that time, I got killed and raged for ten minutes before shutting off my xbox and going to bed.

Funniest moment for me is tied between judging the box, giving Viv the wrong wyvern heart and saying "Well.. ****" and envy demon impersonating Josie.. Can't decide which one.

Oh and some of the comments Sera makes at Redcliffe castle is priceless too.

I get really annoyed that enemies are just everywhere in the Hinterlands and when you are underleveled, you use up all your potions so fast and then run into more enemies. Why are there so many enemies so close to eachother in the hinterlands?

Last night I was trying to get to the Mercenary Fortress and kept having to go back to camp to get more potions because bears and level 8 Lyrium Smugglers kept ambushing my level 6 party. I always ended up using half my potions before I even got to the Fortress.

It was such a war of attrition and I hated every minute of it.

OK. Done ranting, and I feel better. How is everyone else doing?

One could die of alcohol poisoning on this post alone :P

Kidding!! I feel your pain, died so many times on my first playthrough but eventually I figured out which areas to avoid until I was strong enough.

I am sure that my family thinks I am insane by now, with the amount of yelling I do. One bear I can handle, no problem, but two or three kill me so fast it's not even funny. Actually my brother thinks it's hilarious but that isn't the point.

Yeah, I know what areas to avoid but sometimes I think I can do them at a lower level because I guess I am stupid like that.

Some areas are just crawling with overpowered enemies. Like the area in the Emerald Graves with all the giants and the brontos that turn hostile if you accidentally hit them and then charge your entire party to death in 3 seconds flat. That area is super fun.Lol

Sorry I know convo is passed and moved on but.. couldn't help myself. 2 large bears (I was outrunning the second), a few mercenaries and a couple of lyrium smugglers all after me.

Yeah, that is what always happens to me. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so infuriating. At that point, I try to revive my rogue fast, switch to them and stealth away from my enemies.

Yes I did lol. just, bear there got on more bite at me before I managed to outrun him. This was the tamest trip to the woods I had, and only one I had a screenshot of. I've had 4 large bears + 2 smugglers and a couple of mercs on me at once before but no pic lol.
