Also, scarred Trevelyan:

Nice scar! I've only ever applied scars to one of my characters in any game ever. I don't usually like them, but sometimes they give that little bit of extra characterization that's needed.

This is Abaeni. I agonized over her scar placement, haha.

I generally put scars on my characters where I have them on my own face. For example all of them have a scar that splits the eyebrow to mimic my own with varying degrees of intensity. Staches' is pretty prominent, but his brother's is pretty light.

I'm not convinced...its painful to look at.  Changed her hair a bit too.   :P

I love scars. I have so many of them and they each have their own story.

I still consider her the prettiest character I've ever made.

The funny thing is that while she's uber pretty, she was also a badass who made the tough decisions.

Kara is my first scarred character, I do not really like them but you are right.  They do tell character and story.  Especially with this one since I added it deep into the story, just after Adamant...so its a new wound for her.  How will it effect her character? Will it?  Its certainly something new she will have to adapt to.

That's a really cool use of the mirror! I never thought about adding scars after the fact to create extra story. Brilliant!

For Donkson. If only she was awake right now.

Usually helmets hide, but daaaaang, Sera in the swooshy hat is like the Bud Light "Woman in a Cowboy Hat" commercial. http://www.dailymoti...wboy-hat_news …

yeah not evfen sure where I am going with this story either. :P  I just had the idea months ago when coming up with the character concept and when rumors that they were adding the Black Emporium was beginning to surface.  So we'll see if it changes her attitudes or the way I role pllay, but by itself its a good way to do story and character.  And a scar would be something which could happen and change during the Inquisitor's life.

Yeah.

I have a few of those.

Everyone does. Take my eyebrow scar for example. My brother smacked me in the face with a vacuum hose when I was nine. Almost had to go get stitches. *drink to good memories*

I hate mine. They're all from being a moronic angsty teenager or a klutz.

No good stories, just ugly blemishes. :(

my most prominent one I was running and playing with a group of friends around a sharp fence, and my hand was a bit far out, and it snagged on the metal...and cut very deep into the skin.  Lots of blood *drinks*

Kelevra has scars all over the right half of his face, but I set them to be very faint, in order to have them seem long healed up.

Based on someone's whip of course, I started making Hook & Tackle his signature skill when I discovered how well it fits. Yet the only way I could make sense of it (I mean, I love it, but it's kinda random and bizarre) was to add it to the list of devices he came up with during his adventurer days - replacing his right forearm with the construction; assuming he took a terrible injury to that side of his body.

 I was a little young, all I did was cry. Bro saw the blood and he ran to get away from the wrath of momma!

They don't need to be good stories. I have this blob of a scar on my wrist from spaghetti sauce that attacked me while I was cooking it. Spaghetti sauce!

Evil sauce! Get back in the pan!

I've got one about an inch above my elbow where I caught a pan falling from the oven. I had to save the cookies! But man it hurt like a ******.

I have that same one. It's luckily the only one in the face, but there's quite more on the rest of my body, given mine punched me so I fell back through the glass of our living room door, like in a Bud Spencer & Terrence Hill movie.

Which I kept telling myself as I cried & bled. "I ain't even mad!"

*raises saucer for fun times indeed*

I do like her new hair style too.  It works fo her, from a roleplaying perspective.  It still is 'neat' in its own way but kind of messy.  Like she does not care really about her personal appearance too much.  Its just something to make her due...its also a bit longer.

Yup. That's my Inquisitor, as in my avatar ever since. I only ever had him grow a longer beard over time.

The name Kelevra is from a movie I like. It's hebrew for "bad dog".

Auuugh, Dazzle is having an avatar crisis. Why am I so picky about art styles?
