Garrus is a bad ass. Basically my thinking is if you don't see the appeal of a character you will not see the appeal of the romance.

 

I like his character a lot though. Guess it's like Dorian in DAI to me, friends but no vision of a romance ever.

That's what stops me from doing a Dorian romance. I have to play as a guy eww.. hahaha, kind of kidding. Nah Dorian's best for me as my mage lady's closest friend and soul mate.

I had to, my goal is one individual character for each romance. But he works as that role really well too, so I won't bug you about it.

I do have 2 guy characters created and ready to go (Cassandra romance and Dorian romance). Just will play them when I feel like a change,

But yeah, Lady Trevelyan mage seeing Dorian as a close platonic friend/soul mate but loving Cullen as well. I would hate for Kyrrah to have to choose between the two though.. That sort of decision would break my heart, worse then the random warden or Hawke thing.

I was the same with Garrus actually. Always liked his character, one of my favorites. When I found out you could romance him I was all, "What? No! He's my best space bro ever. I don't want to ruin that." I was afraid it would ruin the Bros for life. The week before ME3 came out I said, "oh what the hell?" and went for it. I was surprised. Still best space bro and best space boyfriend. I thought it was well written so as not to make the relationship awkward. Patrick Weekes did a good job.

He did indeed write Solas. Solas was also friend first. Still think friend first with him. Always bro before romance.

Haha. On one playthrough I was with my ex.. And she walked into the room, took one look at Miranda and spazzed out.. I'm talking like, she nearly broke up with me lmao. She went off and accused me of playing the game just to perve on Miranda. Oh and she wouldn't let me romance anybody.. Not that I could romance Miranda playing as a female, but still I had to be single in those games when the ex was around.. Crazy ******!

 

Wow that's way over crazy. Glad she's your ex now. It's just a game dammit.. My bf and I don't care about the fictional stuff, so books, tv shows, movies and games can bring on the naked scenes and romance, it doesn't affect our relationship. We have a great laugh over it though, especially The Witcher's hooker scenes etc.
