This piece is used during the missing train mystery in Sherlock Holmes - Crimes & Punishment.

Game O.S.T. / musician nerdgasm; as this is one of the most hauntingly beautiful piano pieces I've heard in a long time. Free of clichées, and it perfectly mimmicks "unsettlingly peaceful wind", if that makes any sense. Listen with headphones if you haven't felt the sensation of lingering paranoia in a while!

Yes, anglicisms is when they come from English specifically, barbarism is the general term.

ETA: http://es.wikipedia....wiki/Barbarismo

(...)

Barbarism is the mispronunciation of a word.

(I swear my intention is not to be a smartass)

Edit: Spelling

Edit: OH! the general term would be neologismo, whether it's a completely new word, taken from another language as it is, or changed.

USA WINS! USA WINS!!

*proceeds to go crazy*

*Homer voice* USA! USA! USA!

Crimes&Punishement was made by Dostoevsky...did they rip it off and give it to Holmes?  <_<

Arthur Conan Doyle was a fan of Dostoyevsky's. Sherlock Holmes makes references to his work, or quotes from it, at numerous occasions in the original stories.

Crimes & Punishment was chosen as the latest game's title for this, but also because it introduced moral decisions - much like the book is ultimately about morality opposed to justice. You get decide whether you're actually going to have the purp charged or not at the end of your cases, among other things.

P.S.: Great, now I practically look like a classy bum!

First tea, now Holmes!

I should have listened to my divorce attorney; Wednesday evenings clearly isn't my crowd.

Truth be told, I love Agatha Christie as well.

She was more versatile, but she never had such characters like Holmes (and Watson, and Irene Adler) as a result. Doyle is BioWare, while Christie is more like CDPR.

I would also like to say that old timey detective debates must make for geekiest "flamewar", even on here.

(If it isn't perfectly clear: I still love you dearly, and I really am not insulted in the slightest)
