And here is the reason I'm staying with Kaidan, at least for this playthrough. Might try a different species if I feel fine with it next time. At least he's sweet enough lol.

If you ever play a male, you have to romance Tali, she is so cute and the romance is so sweet. Don't want to spoil it for you, but you have to try it. It is my favorite in the ME Series.

Yeah but thee is a huge difference between being tolerant/ friendly/ even 'pro' something and 'dating it'.  First of all and second of all as Kelly Chambers pointed out, and even as the Illusive Man himself may have once believed, it is possible to put humanity first and still not be a complete arse to other species.

what I mean , is of all the 'alien' we had on the ships...mostly the 2 humans (Kaidan and Ash) came with that attitude and paranoia (gotta watch X , dont let X near this and That) . Maybe they were written to be pro-Humanity without the attitude..but didnt come like that to me .

Heh its a slippery slope and I was wondering if that wording in that post was the best way to write that post to communicate the idea, stared at it for a good long while.  I just remember, and agree with, Kelly's big speech in ME 2 on the subject.  WHich ironically enough is the one she gets constantly mocked for.

I definitely got that from Ashley, but not from Kaidan, especially when he spoke about his past. Shepard can push kaidan towards a more accepting view on aliens though throughout ME1, which I did so I guess that's why I didn't notice a pro-human anti-alien (or paranoid to) attitude. He was just loyal to the Alliance as his job.

Yeah a little, you can talk her through her intense dislike and she gets more accepting. In ME1 anyway, can't speak for ME3.
