I don't hate the song. What I hate is having a song stuck in my head. Can get very annoying. Sometimes, I will lose all concentration, whether I be doing something that needs focus and precision, or simply just having a conversation with someone, and begin tapping away on a surface to the beat of the song in my head... It's very rude but I can't help it.

BUT THEY DID! That, absurdly, is what started the whole new HoF thread craze.

 

Patrick Weekes and Mikey Laidlaw said that the HoF will not return. Not return, or as Bill Shakespeare would say, returning not.

 

They don't want to do it, and it would only cause problems, so they'd rather leave them as they were, since they've had their story. That's literally what they said. Given how ambiguous they're about stuff that afterwards actually happens, this is as clear and simple as it's going to get without shouting people in the face.

Exactly Dieb. People can speculate and wish all they want, but we have specific comments from the head dev and head writer of DA that Hero of Ferelden is not returning. It's likely there'll only be a codex entry in the next game, just like in DAI and DA2. Specific mention is the key. They wouldn't be so specific if there was a chance that it would change.

Thats all i recall , dont remember a definitive NO . But if they really did , they should say it again and clearly 'No we will not make a dlc ,expansion , next DA4 about the warden ever , never ever ever again. He wont be mentioned , no cameo , no codex , no nothing' ...now THAT is a NO....

it was said via tweets from Patrick and Mike a couple of weeks ago that Hero of Ferelden's story is finished, and HoF won't be coming back either as pc or npc. Of course there will always be a codex entry, and codexes mentioning him/her because HoF is part of the lore now, defeating fifth blight and all.
