And this is why I didn't feel anything but annoyed when Thane died.
Three healthy people with guns stand by and watch the dying guy fight (and lose to, seriously Thane you have a damn gun. Stand back and shoot his ass!) an idiot with a sword.

 

 

To be fair, the situation begun and ended rather quickly and Thane and the cereal killer were pretty tangled up. Getting involved in hand-to-hand would have had a good chance of mucking up Thanes combat flow and getting a shot in without one of them disengaging would have been difficult. Same for Thanes gun. Too close for it to be useful and the cereal killer kept pressing, making disengaging difficult.

 

Of course ultimately the scene was constructed around the 'rule of cool' and logic takes a back seat

A perfect moment to cry a little.

 

I *ahem* may have shouted, rather angrily. at my (monitor) Shepard a little for just standing there that entire fight scene. Then he got stabbed and the tears started.. then he died and I had to have a good ol' sob. I did however love his line where he says that the assassin should be embarrassed for having such a long fight with a half-dead drell, or something like that.

 

Then you see both mordin and Thane's names on the Normandy Memorial thing, that was just... *sniffles*

Nothing wrong with being a little emotional! haha. I had teary eyes during DAI's cutscene after Haven - before Skyhold the first 3 times. I'm a huge softy . ok gotta get the last of these ME3 dlc's downloaded so break time.

I get emotional at a lot of things.  Ahem.  Sleeping in Light.  Ten regenerating into Eleven.  Elven regenerating in twelve.  A lot of what happened in Game of Frickin Thrones tonight.  Most deaths in the Walkng Dead.  And yes, that whole bit between Haven and Skyhold was a fells trip.

I was the same. I remember shouting "NO!" And tears. Turns out I did have tear ducts. *drink*

Leviathan is amazing.  Omega is...very cool but just cool.  There is not a lot of meet to it but a lot of really cool moments.

Interesting.  Boudica Shepard considered that mission a chance to rectify her Virmire mistake.
