DA:I has a quite good and flexible CC. The only thing I miss is face codes as it was in ME2 and 3.

What was the problem?

that to. :P

It only finished like a few years ago.

Yeah, but I never started it other than an episode or two because I was 14 and wanted to watch stuff like High School Musical instead.

I think you might be better going for Fallout then, though whether you pick 3 or New Vegas is up to you. (I prefer 3) and they've got enough content to keep you going for a while.

I might get both. :)

Most of what I heard on DA Is CC has been hate, I think you are the only person who seems to genuinely like it.  Even I hate it.

I like it. I think it's a much better way to create a character, because no two characters can be the same (unless you go to extreme measures - looking at you, Dieb with your several thousand screenshots of the CC  )

I've never seen it, but the wiki says it's open world, whereas I prefer a more linear story. Mass Effect is almost too big and DA:I is definitely too open-world.

Mass Effect is almost too big?   Well the first one certainly was.

The story is linear, all side quests are optional.

I find CCs to be tedious.  I have a hard time knowing what something does sometimes...so I do not go in depth as maybe I should.  ANd I wanted more hair and beard options.     Rather then such small microscopic stuff.

I go through each possible setting first to see what everything does and then I restart and actually create a face.

Yeah, the hair options are atrocious, but the face options are woah.

hey I did that the other day, when giving Kara her scar I took before and after pictures of the CC sliders and things.  You should have seen the lengths I went to to create my ME 2 Shepard back into ME 1.

They are open world, but I find they are a little more linear than other RPG's. Though if you go the wrong way in the old train tunnels, you can get kinda lost.

me too a lot of skippable stuff in ME in general really.  More so then in DA I.

About open world...I don't care as long as its done well.  Skyrim (bad) DA I, I really enjoyed and from what I have seen of the Witcher...its open world certainly did not effect the quality of the quests and story..holy moly.  Still might not be my cup of tea...but its something.

About the DA I CC...as much as I rag on it I really do love my two Inquisitors.     Wish I had screenshots of Ben.

Also Divinity II (http://store.steampo...com/app/219780/) and Dragon Commander (http://store.steampowered.com/app/243950/) were interesting. Though, both lack options in CC.

Hinterlands.   -_-

But you know its funny most of my least favorite areas in the game were the smaller ones.  (Storm Coast and Fallow Mire)

Freaking desert and plains. Argh.

I'll give you that. I just don't find the mire to be compelling. I'll do it if I really have to though.

The only character you can RP is 50 (actually ~100) y/o old dude with an adult kid. And the game is a bit unbalanced.

You lack pretty much any creative input into what Geralt looks like. I think you would, and I'd recommend it to anyone, but you like CC's and the Witcher doesn't have one. The story is great though, as is the writing for the different characters, quests etcetera. Yeah, you know what, if you're up for it, go ahead. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
