I have the whole trilogy on all three consoles. That is mainly due to circumstance. *drink to life's quirks*

I actually have ME3 on all three consoles.

Wow! All my RL friends are on XBL, and I've had one since the first (I still want Crimson Skies back, Microshaft)

But MS marketing effs up continuously more than ever, and Sony just buys all the cool new franchises, while the former brings me the same old Halo (which I never cared for) and ruins Fable by making it one of those weird f2p online grindfest games I never got my head around (they all look like Warcraft 3 mods to me *hides*)

As much as I'm very content with the quality of MS hardware neverthelss, I'm still inclined to get a PS4 just for all the exclusives.

hey now! when does simpler mean bad? It so does not, I prefer ME3's combat to ME2 but it took some getting used to at first. I did go straight from finishing ME2 to starting ME3. And yes, it feels a lot simpler then the previous games, I'm hitting less buttons, not always a bad thing and I can actually rely on my companions to hit something for once... most of the time..

Oh gotcha. Yeah, that's definitely right. I'd just say it's smoother, and Shep is way more agile. I happened to play ME2 while playing Gears of War, so I was very spoiled.

I loved Shep's agility in three, why I feel the game was easier.  I think if they raised the difficulty like they did between two and three, but did not make Shep as agile, she would've gotten slaughtered.

Again, the companions go a long way.

You just need to start giving orders, constantly. As soon as they're finished with someone or something, order them to attack the next one. Ash kills a basic trooper or Batarian reaper bloaty thing in one burst with a Lancer or Revenant. You're no longer just a guy with 4 extra skills, so they had to adjust the difficulty a little.

ME2's most difficult fights where really just difficult mostly because as soon as enemies crossed the treshold to your dead angle, you had no way of defending yourself. Except for that goddamn Preatorian fight, which was difficult because your weapons feel like they have minus twenty bullets by default.

Just nuke the SOB, and warp the frak out of it.  All of the collector quests, with the exception of the SM, do I abandon my traditional 'A' team concept and go for pure tactics.

Sometimes I wish every straight male in these sexism debates would read their exact postings out loud to their spouses; it would save the SJP (Social Justice Pyjama) within (and around) me a lot of work.

My brothers name is Hakeem...

Oh, really? I picked the name because he's a Redguard and in theory TES lore got inspiration from Sub-saharan Africans for the race, Hakeem seemed to me a lore abiding name for him.

*wonders how many of these posters in question are actually straight males* *drinks*

I dunno, whenever someone says braveness, loyalty and good leadership skills are male traits, I will make fun of them.

Around the age of 30 however, men either end up in jail or unafraid of women who are self-assured without mainly displaying that by, say, being blatantly promiscuous and vocal about it, so there's nothing to lose hope about.

"I just f*cked ten guys at once, and don't wear any underwear because I wanted to"

-Yay, I'm very comfortable playing a game with a strong female character!

"I can lift more than you and I'm your commanding officer who wears her hair short out of practical reasons"

-Yuck, she's basically a man!

Both of these things are "valid" (as in, it's non of my goddamn business) but only one is generally accepted as a flawless way of handling it.

For real. I think the name means "wise one" which is ironic because my brother is nothing of the sort.

In all my years of BioWare games, I have never tried playing a full on caster, whether it's Biotics or Magic. I've just always been a rogue for all my RPG career, and it ain't gonna change as long as devs come up with more fun abilities...

Same here, Sentinel Shepard aside.

Although for me it extends to any game where magic is an option since I usually favour speed, cunning and a willingness to fight dirty over force.
Also, poison. Lots and lots of poison.

I like that guy more and more. Would be a blessing if he played BW games, in hindsight to the LBGT debates. That is a strikingly blunt and smart move, the answer he gave.

Ahh good old BSN.

Can always be counted on to demonstrate how the fanbase has an unhealthy fixation with gender and sexuality.

I reckon the next BioWare game should have no romances and only LGBT characters.

Make everyone asexual tranquil. You know, so they don't risk anybody getting offended despite toning down the graphic themes.

I have friends and siblings on XBL, PSN, and some on PC. MS hasn't done anything to 'wow' me in some time which is why I switched sides, so to speak. I'm unhappy about what they are doing to Fable. I wait to see what they have to offer at E3 . Maybe they can convince me to become an equal opportunity console owner again. *drink*

I loved Fable. Played those on my Xbox 360 back in the day.. I no longer own the console due to that notorious red ring. Lol red ring, get it? ;)

Must say I never took it seriously.. It always came off like it was pulling the ******. It was fun, though it annoyed me that my character had to eat rabbit food as to avoid getting fat despite all the running around and fighting I did. :P

Why does this remind me of something J. O'Neill (two Ls) would say?

But eating celery to get thin after eating an entire bakery's worth of pie was great! Fable was so much fun.
