The openend the EA conference with a whole new, revealing Mass Effect trailer. A guy looking at old photos of the Milky Way, to Johnny Cash - Ghost Riders In The Sky. Camera retracts, he has an old school N7 armor. Crazy action ensues, including Mako and definitely Prothean architecture, Omnitool action, Biotics and then some.

DOOM 3 was pandered by critics, but I liked it. There is a particular level of the game, where the protagonist falls to hell (literally). It is still the most scary stuff that I've ever faced on a videogame. I was so freaking scared in front of the monitor that it took me about 5 minutes just to start moving forward to see what the level had in store. It wasn't because the enemies were particularly powerful, but when your character falls there, he has no weapons, nothing!
