I managed to pick up Renegade points somewhere and it's really upsetting because I don't know when it happened, so I can't go back! I wanted Erik to have 100% paragon and now that's blemished.
Some are going to be assigned no matter what you do, IIRC. That bugged me once as well in one of my playthroughs. If you really want to delve into it and try to see where it happened, the Mass Effect wikia has guides for all three games.

You know personally I think the idea to set it in a brand new Galaxy, and the Andromeda to boot, is actually a brilliant suggestion and when I read the rumors in that survey a while back the hype train started to leave the track. choo choo mother fraker.
