- Replaying Bioshock Infinite (need to do the DLCs though).

- New nightmare run of a DW Rogue in DA:I (possibly my canon guy)

- Finishing Archer Run DA:I (JoH and completing unfinished stuff like dragons, forbidden oasis temple, mosaic, etc)

- Replaying ME 1, 2 and 3 because...reasons

I have a sad pet story.  Spoilered in case you just want to pass by sad story.

Both of my cats are shelter adoptions, but one that endeared herself to me so quickly was a frantic outdoor rescue.  I was going home from work late one night and stopped at the local convenience story and a very frail, skinny, desperate cat immediately came up to me before I could even make it indoors.  She had no fear of humans, and was in fact being incredibly affectionate but also obviously wasn't just lost for the night.  Matted hair, etc, she'd obviously been abandoned.

 

Well I couldn't leave her there, so I took her home and cleaned her up.  Even though I already had two cats and a dog, I pretty much immediately decided she was  going to be #4 and named her Helga.  Dropped her off at vet the next day for exam, bloodwork, shots, etc.  Picked her up after work and got the bad news... heartworm.  She'd survived it, but had lung and heart scarring and would always be at risk from dying from some scarring breaking off or something and clogging her lungs or heart??   Vet estimated she was around 5 years old.

 

So anyway, much to the irritation of my oldest cat, Helga quickly decided that her rightful position was lying on my chest when I laid down and watched tv.  She'd lay there and bite at my beard, tugging on it.  Soooo friggin' adorable. 

 

Fast forward five months and I wake up one morning to find her laying on the bathroom floor struggling to breath.  I fly her to the vet's and they stabilize her, but the vet says she probably won't survive the night.  Some scarring had broken away and lodged him her lung, causing fluid build up.  They had her in a little 100% oxygen cage and she looked so scared in there, but I told the vet to keep her in there overnight in hopes she might pull through this.  She died overnight at the vet, alone and scared.  That's five years on now and I still feel horribly guilty for letting her die alone.

Oh Beren, she didn't die alone because you were in her heart.  I'm not being flippant about this because it means too much to me.  We have 2 cats who were dumped in our pond as kittens a few months ago.  I'm going to put up a vid of Parsley later (Sage was far too traumatised at the vid point to even interact with us).  Now, she is the loudest, purr-machine ever and 'in your face' but at the time I wondered if she would ever get over it.  She's our little Bagheera!

 

That sounds SOOO much like me, even the mother thing. Besides my inner circle of lifelong friends I'm not interested in other people (most of the time). I've spent 4 years in college and all the people I've met and been with feel just like classmates, not a single "real" friend. However with online friends it's completely different, maybe because of shared interests

Oh, I meant to quote Poodle too.  Sometimes you have to embrace who you are and your differences.  Again, I'm not being flippant (because Paragon can be a tool).  I only found out recently that someone very near and dear to me was Depressive and had kept it from me (very near and dear ).  It's not like I wasn't upset to find out for various reasons, perhaps not totally surprised but this is the most remarkable and amazing person I know and love.  Yeah, hope I didn't express myself too badly in this post.  Right, I'm off to put up a vid of a kitten that could eat and talk at the same time.

ME is boring me because my Shep is suuuch a goody-two-shoes. Blech, it's like playing myself, ****** kill me.

 

I had to quote this from a couple of pages back. See now I cannot for the likes of me play a cruel, mean, character. I don't care what the game is, punching people out of combat makes me feel so mean and rude.

Alright, this is a vid of Parselicious about a day after we'd fished him out of our pond.  We had to keep him and Sage isolated at first because we have another cat (Ash).  It's cute now, because he's a healthy,  'neutured' juvenile.  *Notices Bunny*

ooh right, I checked that out last night but we decided to buy a copy of TW3 instead. My boyfriend only had to comment that he thinks they dropped graphics style but the game looked great from a trailer.

graphics comment directed at the batman game thing based on the trailer/vid we watched for it which was almost all gameplay. I liked it, but not my style of game hehe. He just said it was different to the previous one or something. No idea, I never played any of them.

Anyway, point is batman thingy looked great, design and combat-wise. Should be a great game! I very rarely judge games on graphics haha, some of my favourites I actually despise the graphics look but damn they're good games.

That's my point, I suck at roleplaying and can't be mean. game or not haha. Shepard punched someone once in ME2 and even though angry Shepard had good reason to do so I felt so bad. I was apologising to my computer screen haha. This however is only limited to conversations. I'm an ass when it comes to combat, I do not play fair.

That video is so cute! And did you notice that the kitten seems to be 'Talking' to the rooster? Omg , that is too adorable.

About to head up to a job capacity assessment at centrelink (I'm on the disability support pension), so they can decide if they wish to force me to get a casual job or not. I did not need this today, I'm still sick and stressed about kid being sick.
