Merle is certainly an...interesting guy ...he was coming around though...and then was shot by the Governor.  

 

You should also add bows to that list.    Which it is kind of funny back to my head canon for a bit that Kara knows how to hunt after spending so much time outdoors and with bows...but she did not really know how to use a bow to kill people.  I have an idea for a chapter in a story where Iron Bull pretty much owns Kara because of that point.  Taken, inspiration wise, from a scene in Glory...hold on maybe I can find it online.

 

That is actually a uniquely sound point you're making there. Using bows in combat is something completely different after all, I imagine.

 

I use a bow, but my only active skill is Leaping Shot (which also are actually grenades rather than normal arrows), to further illustrate that the bow is just one of his weapons, and he's definitely not a masterful marksman or anything.

 

 

P.S.: On a completely different sidenote, I am a grown man known for being well-behaved and generally reserved AND I JUST ORDERED THIS 25 TIMES FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON BECAUSE CAR.

And yeah.  One of the bits in high school that I took was an archery course for gym.  It was...quite awesome actually.  My love of bows was already established at that point but I felt I was actually good at it.  Something i may want to go back into one day.  But, again, the point is I can take all day to shoot a target and probably hit a bullsye every single time.  It is an entire different thing, to paraphrase Tom Lehrer, to do so when 300 pounds of angry pot roast is chargint at you...as the vid I posted demonstrates.

I prefer the Griffon Bow.

 

The design especially because other than most high-tier bows in RPGs, it looks more worn & tech-y, rather than mystical and ornamental.

 

P.S.: But obviously, if there were a CE with any actual bow from the game, I'd be all for it.

My search has been utterly fruitless. Well, not utterly. I have a thread, a very small one. Ran into a lyrium smuggler not far from Skyhold. Charming fellow. Had the creepiest leer. I asked him if there were rumors of anyone causing trouble because where there is trouble, there is Donkson. Gaspard's army, Celene's army--blah, blah, blah; Fish falling from the sky in Crestwood; cats running amok in the Val Royeaux Markets; chicken abomination running lose in Redcliffe. Bingo. I had an idea what that chicken abomination was and who set it loose. Off I went toward Redcliffe.

 

(A few hours later)

I have to end my search early today as the weather looks to turn foul. Shame, I was hoping to make it to Redcliffe before the storm. Lucky to find this inn out here on the road. Lucky. Right. Better keep my bow close by...

 

Remember to refill the Dr Pepper.

Detective Dienne leaned back on her chair, took another look at her notes and sighed in frustration.  She hadn’t even took a nap since the Dame announced Donk’s disappearance. She finished her bottle and threw it into the fireplace with rage. The investigation had been almost fruitless so far- very few clues and none of them fit together.  She was about to call it a day when someone knocked the door.

 

“Detective, may I come in?” Said an unfamiliar female voice.

“I’m not taking any cases, please leave”

“But it is important; I know you’re investigating Donk’s disappearance” a blue skinned woman wearing a skimpy dress charged into the room. After seeing her face Dienne recognized her: she was one of Donk’s asari lovers. “Yesterday morning we were supposed to meet in her room but she wasn’t there, and then I found those flowers in her bed-“

“Flowers?  Lynroy and I thoroughly searched her room and we didn’t find any”.

“A-about that, oh well” the asari stuttered “ when I saw them I thought they were from that elf,  Sera. I was angry… and jealous so I threw them away, but later I remembered she hates those flowers, we all know. And now that she’s… gone… I thought-“
