I like that age range for the inquisotor. Young enough to still be fumbling with control, but old enough to make strong decisions.
I like my characters to be young because two reasons. One with each RPG giving you almost no abilities at the beginning of the game you have to learn all of them. So you are either really A. young and inexperienced. Or B. just starting a new job. Plus it works better for character arcs. I probably would have had Shepard be really young but their plot arc in the game starts in medias res AND the mere fact that their age is stated in game kills that idea.

Meh I just wanted her to be my doppleganger...but with female parts. Kara is probably the character closest to me that I have ever role played, differences on religion not withstanding. Just she has Kara Thrace's attitude.

I try my characters to "make sense" into the setting, my warden (human) was 25. It makes sense to me given that his parents seem to be middle aged but not frail, in their early 50s perhaps, I imagine having him when they were in their 20s themselves. Similar in age like how I imagined my Hawke when he left Loithering. With my Inquisitor though, is a different story, I have difficulty having Leliana, Cullen and Cassandra not being condescendent with him if he was too young, since all of them are in their late 30s (and with a lot of prestige in Thedas already) during the Inquisition, an Inquisitor in the same age range made more sense to me (both of my inquisitors are 42 years of age and were born in the dawn of the Dragon Age, but with slightly different stories growing up).
My Shepard is 28 at the beginning of the trilogy, I think that is what the canon says.
ETA: But I really respect and consider valid any choice

This is what happens when I go to play WoW after 5 minutes of not being responded to. I go and miss a question and the I feel rude. 
I'm doing okay. I just took apart my bed today. (I should have taken a picture of it. I didn't realise my back was suffering as much as it is until seeing exactly what I was laying on...) In the process of taking apart my bed, I stood on several long, sharp nails (in bare feet 
) and stabbed my hands a few times as well. Also sliced up my arm by accident. Still sore.
So all in all, a pretty good day.

Nope to disinfectant and kinda to bandages. I pressed tissue paper to the cut, and held it down with parcel tape. I'm not joking either.
