By now you should have received a communication from our .... tragic acquaintance.  As you can see we have plenty of clues but no sightings yet.  Beren's the clumsy Templar's trap was a bust, and the whole place stinks of old chicken broth now.  Still makes a change from wet dog *looks around accusingly*.  We still don't know what merchandise the koala and rabbit were dealing in, but we have our experts on it. 

 

 

In the meantime,  if our qunari friend shows up I'll ask if her Ben-Hassrath contacts know anything.

 

I am sending you some supplies by carrier-nug.  A Snoufleur bladder filled with Dr Pepper in case you run out and a bunch of fresh hawk feathers (borrowed from Foley's new, erm, pet hehe).

 

I hope it's not too boring for you out in the field, be careful there are rumours of Venatori spies in the area.

Damnit, Beren. The smell can't be much of an improvement. Tell him to keep at it, it may yet provide more encouraging results.

 

Life on the road is hardly dull, especially after someone tries to kill you. I'm going to need to be careful after I was set upon by an as yet unknown faction that wanted to take me alive. I'll tell you that story later. I just got to Redcliffe and it's odd... I came here because of rumors about a chicken abomination, but the few folk I've talked to seemed to think I was barking mad. Anyway to track down that Lyrium smuggler who gave me the tip? He could only have been on his way to Skyhold when I met him. Hoping to hear back from the experts soon.

 

PS - Don't look too much into it, it's just Staches and his brother having a laugh. I spotted the two of them just outside Redcliffe with hawk feather quills, laughing like a pair of kids. I convinced them to help.

Dienne spent the morning questioning the local florists trying to find a decent lead about the orlesian lilies, without result.

Back at Skyhold, she found Josephine looking for her and carrying a letter from The Will. It was slightly bloodstained and looked like it had been written in a hurry. Immediately she went into her quarters to write her response.

 

“Dear Lynroy:

 

I received your note and don’t worry, I will. It seems you’ve got yourself into trouble. I have no doubt on your fighting skills, but I’ll have Leliana prepare reinforcements just in case.

Everything’s too quiet in Skyhold, so quiet it upsets me. Well, except for Beren’s bait plan and Paragon running around and setting off your remaining traps.

No one in Ferelden seems to know nothing about the flowers, I’ll send someone to Val Royeaux, and if needed I’ll go myself after your return.
