From all the complaints from owners of the older consoles, they probably should never have bothered with squeezing the game to make it work on them.  I mean, they are old tech now, it's not a surprise the game didn't work well for them.  It's no different to any game company that only releases the newest games on the newest consoles.

I still don't understand why they did it in the first place.

Some games released later in the Xbox 360's cycle weren't actually able to be played on older versions of the console. So, for example, if I had one of the original 360's with the smaller hard drive, I would not have been able to play Halo 4 on it.

Is that downloading halo 4 or using a disc? anyway, they shouldn;'t have release DAI on the ps3/360 if they were going to do this. But I still find it unsurprising, I heard a rumour if you had it on 360 you didn't have to buy it again for xbox one, not sure if true seeing as I play it on pc but if true there's a huge hint they were going to do this right there.

Using a disc.

My question I realised was stupid right as I hit post lol, it's ok. I understand harddrive size being an issue, that's a constant console and pc one. I was more meaning all the other stuff, pc has one thing from the rec system not good enough and a game will barely run. Consoles don't have that particular problem, but defintiely have a space one which *glares at her PS4* I hate how they release them with small harddrive space.

Not being a console owner since the Atari 2600 ~ NES era, I hadn't thought about that.  Can you guys not upgrade the HDD in those things on your own?

there's a way to replace the harddrive in the PS4, but it's not sony supported, Sony just tells you how to do it. Gotta buy the harddrive thing yourself and plug it into the console. Better then buying a fully new console just for space I suppose but still sucky.

I actually had to buy a new pc a year ago, needed better drivers plus more harddrive space, set me back 3k but it's the best it can be right now since I can't afford those huge-brand-name gamining systems. mine's custom built. Honestly, I almsot say 600$ over 3k any day :P haha, but I prefer the pc so deal wth the cost.

Deconstructed stuffed peppers for dinner tonight, because I'm lazy and have no interest in stuffing peppers, lol.

Family can deal with eating sauteed peppers, spanish rice, and mild sausages separated on the plate.

Always with the fancy meals. I'm a lazy cook most of the time, seasoned rib fillet steak sandwiches is on my dinner menu tonight. Granted it's hard to cook with a toddler running around my feet but I can still make tasty simple meals hehe

Edit: seasoned meaning throwing some garlic and thyme sprigs in to cook too, not the fancy proper seasoning way to go about it :P.. should have said flavouring instead..

Dude, this is my lazy meal! Chop up some peppers and toss them in a pan, thaw some sausages and toss them in another pan, and boil some boxed spiced rice. Haha!

Your supper sounds really yummy though.

I absolutely disapprove of this unsubtle chauvinistic display of male appeasement.

But the water's cold, Dieb, the water's COLD!

Beats the hell out of my planned dinner tonight.

Your dinner puts my planned dinner to shame. I'm just making a simple Chicken Alfredo for my dinner. I'm using canned sauce because I am too lazy to make sauce from scratch.

I've never cooked peppers.. lol.

I don't even use any spices, can't stand 'em. Dinner will be lucky to have sauce and mustard, only if my guy is nice to me today.

Literally rib eye fillet steak and cheese on bread. Yes I must be technical about the cut of the steak, it's very important for a carnivore and steak lover like myself. Wish I could have grabbed the porterhouse cut instead but oh well.

Yes you can but you have to buy a certain HDD that Sony will support which is the internal one.  The external ones (although they work) aren't supported although you can go up to 6TB with those I believe.  Haven't tried it myself as I haven't needed to, tbh.

I love making bechemel from scratch. It's not alfredo because I have no patience for malting parmesan in sauce. But coffee cream, butter, a little flour, salt and pepper. Super simple, just whisk and simmer. :)

They're really yummy and don't require any seasoning or oil. Just toss in a no-stick pan on medium heat. They get really sweet.

I love rib-eye, good choice madam.

Well since I doubt you'd drive down to Missouri to cook me up some peppers, sausage, and rice, I guess it'll have to be good. :D

I make sauces from scratch when I am having something that takes a lot of effort to make. I make a really good bechamel sauce that I use whenever I have salmon. But if it is just a lazy Monday and I have a craving for pasta, the pre-made sauce is good enough.

Oh lol, sorry for the lecture then. Most of my friends are amazed that I refuse to use pre-made sauces. I just hate the commercial taste. Blech.

Argh!  Two minutes, StormQueen!  Just two minutes and I wouldn't have gotten drenched running inside with my pizza...

You could always come down to Alberta. :P

Haha!  If I go Canada, it's permanent, and all the way to either Whitehorse or Yellowknife where hot and humid can kiss my backside.

Oh, and you're "up" from here. :)

Hm, tried two new fruits today.

Tamarillos are icky and too similar to tomatoes, but Korean Melons are yummy and refreshing!
